Just a question 4 u fellow mule creek'ers...My sister-in-law got a letter from her man saying mule creek has been getting lil lockdowns for stupid stuff? She hasnt gotton a phone call in a week so she has been worried. I think her man is playin her, anyone heard anything about lockdowns there? Thanks :blah:

I know that my man has barely been able to call lately. I guess there is consturction on the yard and that's why there's the lockdown. He has only been getting an hour and a half out of his cell per day and in that time everyone has to shower, use the phone and so what ever else they do. He said they told him it should be finished the first part of July.

If he's saying it's other stuff, I haven't heard....

Nothing unusual from mine. He called night before last, but he doesn't call all that often. Ususally only every third night. I've heard other people talking about there being more problems in the gym, or the yard where they put all those guys from Quentin, just from frayed nerves from close quarters. But that isn't affecting my husbands yard.

My man is on A yard there at Mule Creek. No construction going on in his yard. Or a bunch of transfers from San Quienten...again not in his yard. The only lockdowns they have had for the last couple months have been for a couple of power failures..and once for a funeral of a CO that got killed in Iraq. He was in the reserves. Other than that things have been fine. Hope this helps...:rolleyes:

A lot if not all of the SQ transfers went to the C yard. Their day rooms are now packed with 3 tier bunks. The consturction is also on C yard, I guess they are adding trailers for more housing.

B yard is being retrofitted for new cell doors, so all the guys in B have been moved out and then, they moved in guys from DVI for orientation, so B yard building 8 is kinda messed up...no lock downs other than a Saturday before last or 2 when they were locked down for a visiting program. Now that is no lock downs that I know of...things change.
