Hey everyone! I don't have internet at home anymore, but try to check when I can. How is everyone doing? What's new? How much longer are your husbands, sons, boyfriends, etc. in for? Anyone still looking to have another get together?
My update: My husband has 20 months left. He is in Florence now (was in Lewis). My brother is in the Federal facility in Florence and STILL doesn't know how long he's getting. He's facing 50 months. I'm hanging in there, but always seem to get depressed in the summertime. Anyone else feeling that?

Great thread Yvonne~well my husbands still in Oklahoma awaiting tranfer back to AZ. We still have 3 years to go....I was wondering where you've been! I would love to get together with the AZ members, but I'm in Texas so maybe when he gets transferred back, depending on where he is I could get a chance to meet you and some other members. Yep...summer thus far has been a bummer, I mean I've had a great time doing what I've been doing taking little vacations...but there is still that certain something missing...and that would be my husband! hi! my boyfriend was just transferred to Lewis-he was previously in Florence-North Yard II
(he got in a fight on New Year's Eve and was put in CB-6 for 60 days)then reclassified to Lewis-Buckley...same thing, just the other way around!

Hi Yvonne (and everybody else!):

I haven't been online much, but I'm still here. Since I last checked in, Dave was transferred from Lewis-Stiner to Reeves County in Texas and then got transferred back about a month ago. Right back to Lewis, imagine that!

Anyway, he's been recommended for minimum, but we're still waiting on the official "approval" for that.

He's been in the AZ prison system since Sept 2003 and he's up for parole in Dec 2007. I'm finally getting ready to make the big move to Arizona in March, so I'll be spending the next few months tying up all my loose ends here. I'm excited and can't wait to be able to see him regularly again. This Washington to Arizona visiting sucks!

Oh, by the way, I'd really like to talk to some of you who actually live in the Phoenix area. I need some advice and guidance on neiborhoods...you know, where the good ones are, where to avoid, etc. I've been researching the rental markets, but since I don't know the areas, it's hard to pin anything down. Anyway, any help along those lines would be appreciated!

great to see you back and that seems to be a good time to move there as it is not too hot there at that time of year yet..
It is a good idea to talk to residents as I know that they have crime free areas etc and if he is paroling to that addy it could be important to know... you dont want to move too many times.. but I am sure someone will offer some helpful ideas...

I only visit there .. and my guy wont be released to AZ either so this is something we are not needing to deal with...
