View Full Version : Sierra conservation center-Jamestown
sqbound 04-11-2003, 10:41 AM Ok you guys I need to know if anyone has heard of anything about the lock down at Jamestown?
I got a letter from my fiance Rick two weeks ago and he said that they were on lock down. I speak to another woman here at PTO and she said that her fiance was on lock down but he is now off of it. But yesterday I got another letter and his dorm is still on lock down.
I was going to visit next Friday but I guess I might have to put it off.
If anyone knows anything could you please let me know? I am also going to call the prison and if I find anything out I will let ya'll know as well.
Thanks
Kim
vkyshurtz 03-31-2005, 10:40 AM My husband is at Jamestown also, I haven't heard from him since October 4, 2004:( , when he wrote to tell me to tell his daughter Happy Birthday. I'm hoping he is ok, I have written but have got no responses.
vkyshurtz 03-31-2005, 10:46 AM If anyone has someone at Jamestown, his name is Kevin Dexter in the Mariposa unit, I would just like to know he is ok. Thanks for your help
Livinoac 03-31-2005, 11:14 AM Mine is at Jamestown and he is not on lockdown. He called just this past Tuesday. He is however on the Caleveras yard so maybe thats why.
PitaMcnasty 04-03-2005, 03:00 PM I was supposed to get a call from my fiance this weekend and no call and I know he looks forward to our calls as much as I do anyone know if they are on lockdown this past weekend. I am trying not to trip but I dont know what is going on?!!! Please if anyone has heard anything please let me know. Or if you have the phonenumber to call to find out if they are on lockdown I would appreciate if someone could opass that on to me!!! Thanks
Pooh'sPooh 04-04-2005, 02:12 AM I was there this weekend for a visit. I saw a sign posted that said that on the Mariposa Unit "certain" Hispanics from Nothern and Southern California were on lockdown. I dont know what "certain" means, I guess you would have to call. The # for Sierra Conservation Center is 209.984.5291. I believe they have been on lockdown for the last 2 weeks or so.
Hope this helps, good luck :)
mamawen 04-04-2005, 11:53 AM Doesn't your prison have a lockdown information line?
missy1234 11-06-2005, 10:47 AM My husband is currently a level 1 in ccc at Susanville, He possibly could get transferred to Jamestown camp. I would like to know if anyone knows what kind of prison is it. (as in the type of people and where jamestown is located).
Ant's wifey 11-06-2005, 10:10 PM I got a letter from my husband yesterday, and the blacks and the whites are on lock down for who knows how long. You can call (800) 374-8474 for information on the lock downs.
neilsgirl 11-08-2005, 02:07 PM Ya, things have been pretty tense at Sierra recently. They had a killing on level 2 so as of right now, a large population is on lockdown. you can always call the hotline prior to visiting though to check.
Jenn&Cande 11-08-2005, 03:52 PM My friend has never mentioned anything about being on lockdown. Does it depend on what housing they are in or what?
2SadMom 11-09-2005, 11:18 AM Ya, things have been pretty tense at Sierra recently. They had a killing on level 2 so as of right now, a large population is on lockdown. you can always call the hotline prior to visiting though to check.
Does anyone what yard that this happened on. My son is at scc level 2. He did not say anything about this. When did it happen.
neilsgirl 11-14-2005, 01:30 PM Apparently someone got hit in the head with a hard object in a sock. He lived for a few days and then taken off life support. I know that both North and South Hispanics are on lockdown. At least they were as of the other day. It makes for a short wait to get in, but I feel sorry for the people that cant visit their loved ones!
Janese 03-25-2006, 04:58 PM If anyone knows chris please forward the message that NESE is trying to get in touch with him, I LOVE HIM and DAyton does too!
2StRoNg4-2LoNg 03-26-2006, 07:33 PM My man just called me today. It was the first time hes been able to call us since he went in (4 months) He just got there a few days ago and im not sure what the procedure is for newbies but he did not mention anything about being on lockdown and said that he would call me tommorow.
Maribel13 04-09-2006, 12:26 AM My Husband is at Jamestown, the best way to find out about lockdowns is the 1-800 number listed before, I call it every time I go cause you never know what could happen there... I was wondering if anyone knew how my husband could get transfered to a camp up north casue I will be moving to oregon, so it would be nice if he was closer so I could go and see him, I heard that the camp visiting is great! At SCC, there are a lot of problems happening, so just be sure to call the number and to let your man know that you love him!!! Ok well if anyone has any answers to my Q s I would greatly appreciate it. Thankx
butterfly210 04-09-2006, 07:52 PM My man hasnt called and he has been there like 4 monthes whats going on anyone know how long it takes 4 them to use the phone???
AlsGirlAlways 04-13-2006, 04:26 PM My man just got to Jamestown from Tehachapi last week. He was able to call Saturday thanks to one of the other guys letting him use their phone time... I hadn't heard from him in months so even the call was a total of 2 minutes it was wonderful. Now I'm not so patiently waiting for the next one.
