:yay: I am about to have my third visit. In a couple of weeks i will change my address on my driver's license. How do I update the change on the visitation ist? I am aware that my friend can not update his list until October do to recent changes. I don't want time to pass without being able to visit and would like to take care of it ASAP. :thumbsup:

Can you call them up and tell them you have moved? Call the wardens office, and ask them. I think they only need your photographic ID. I showed my passport that didnt have my address on it, and took my drivers licence as well to show my address, but they didnt need the drivers license, they just check the name and the photo. As long as you can prove your you (which you can) I dont think it matters, but call up and double check just in case.

I wouldn't change your DL until after your visit. Many times they'll compare the address on your DL against your information.

You might see if you keep your old DL along with your new one, if that'll work, but if you do that, don't give them your name or the inmates name when asking an in general question. Just call 'em up and say that you're planning on moving and ask if it will affect your visitation.

Things change all the time, and I'm only refering to when I used to visit my husband prior to 2001...
