I just finished looking at the SF G2G pictures, it looks like you all had a great time! All those beautiful, smiling women! But alas, I'm a gay member of PTO:) I'm sure I would have had a blast with you all though, and ice cream is my favorite desert! If you all have something coming up, please let me know.

Are there other gay or gay-friendly members who would like to arrange something? I'm near Sacramento, hopefully Grass Valley soon! I'm easy to talk to, so please feel free to PM or reply!!

Yes, I'd really like to move to GV soon. I agree, it is beautiful! I'm in Marysville now:(

Maybe we could find a place on the Yuba river and have a picnic? Once the water goes down a bit, and warms up, I've always enjoyed hanging out at the river for a day. Since this is supposed to be a great year for finding gold, I could teach people how to pan for gold. We could swim and sun, generally have fun.

Does anyone like that idea or have others? If we get enough interest, then I can find out how to make it a sanctioned G2G.

Sounds good to me. Contact one of the moderators and request it. I live in Sac so I would love to go, but I couldn't afford Frisco. By the way, gays were not excluded from the g2g in Frisco. They were there too!

FranksBoy: hey there neighbor , i am like half hour north of you. Which prison is your loved one at??
I used to gold pan with my dad when i was little.
So I think you and I are on the same track here, I posted a thread about meeting up and going to a concert, if we all could agree upon one. Anything sounds good to me. SF is a little too far for me cause i'm a sissy driver, but if something cool was going down in Sac, i could go for that. I know a lot of bands go thru there not only at the BIG places, ARCO and CAL EXPO and such, but at the clubs too, but then we are back to agreeing on what type of music. And I'm sure that I will be outnumbered cause I always am .......................... whine, whine, whine ........its so hard being me : )

Hi Rebekah. Frank is clear across the country in Florida! Florida's industrys are Disneyworld and prisons.

The reason I suggested a picnic kinda thing is because it is CHEAP FUN! We could bring a boom box, jam out to Rage Against the Machine (and others!), find priceless nuggets, eat watermelon, swim, and stuff like that.

What kind of music do you like? I like nearly everything except country, hip hop, and rap. I like hard stuff like what I mentioned, progressive/trance dance, early 90's grunge, anything 80's, ABBA (hey, I'm gay...they are in my genes!), etc....

Oh, I do have a friend that I just was approved to see in Pleasant Valley. Where's your Honey?

rage against the machine ... WHAT ????? ......... yeah, thats kinda funny, cause I'm a little bit of a fan ..... to put it mildly, i am a total fan, was a total fan ........... oh man, now i'm sad ......... cause audioslave SUCKS. So i just bust out with some system of a down ......... prison song.
and yah, DUH !! i did read that frank was in florida.
cheap fun is GOOD ... (new billy corgan out june 21 st WOO HOO) ....... but i'd have to skip on the swimming, being the meek, sensitive redhead that i am : )
well i'm guessing that from the type of music you listen to, that we are about the same age, OH NO!! unless you're one of those youngsters who think that everything old is COOL again.....
same dislikes as you ............

and "type" of music for me is............ to put a "label" on it, i guess i would go with
punk/alternative with some hippie thrown in for flavor ???? you like that one ?? yep, made it up all by myself. so i could see us ditching everyone at the local top 40 club, and taking off for that seedy bar where all the freaks hang. : )
My man just got transferred from san luis obispo to vacaville, WOO HOO, so much closer, like by about 6 or 7 hours.

I'm an old man, 42! But Frank just sent me a letter that said... "I don't like the way you referred to yourself as 'some old guy' in your letter. I do not look at you that way, and I do not care that you are a little older than me. Our age difference should have no effect on our relationship, unless you like the idea of s...." OOPS! Better stop there. I love it when he tells me sweet things like that! heheh.

His address says... A-4-(bunk#). I guess that means he is in A yard?? The po box is 8501. I know he's not in the general population, but he's not in AdSeg either or CM. He's going to call me tomorrow, so I'll ask what yard he is in. Maybe we could carpool, I'd be happy to either drive or help with gas. I have a pickup, so there is room for one person to drive down with me.

Do you usually stay overnight and see him again the next day? I'm thinking I'd like to do that.

FranksBoy, yes.... A4 means that he is on A-Yard in Building 4. That would be great if you and Sherri carpool. Each yard has it's own visiting room, so you'll be in the same visiting room with Sherrie.

I don't usually stay the night because I have to work on sunday's. But a few people I know do. The guy I usually carpool with likes to stay sometimes when he can afford it. It can get expensive. Gas up there, food for visiting, motel room, food for visiting, then gas back. I have stayed once. Let me know if you are interested. If we have appts, we leave around 5 am. If not, then we leave at 2:30 am, get there around 5:30, get in line (in the car outside the gate) Get our numbers and passes at 7am, then go to burger king for breakfast, kill some time, and start waiting around 9:30 am or so for them to process the appts, and then start calling numbers. It makes for a very long day. Appts start at 8:30 and end at 10am, then they start calling all the numbers for non-appts. We get home around 6:30pm.
Just pm me and I will give you my number.

I think my friends friend is on A4 also.
