The Mid-State Fair is held every year in Paso Robles, CA which is about 20 miles North of CMC. Being a regular visitor of CMC since 2000 I've found that the motels/hotels get booked up during the fair season. So this is just an FYI to let you all know that the CA Mid State Fair is going to be held July 27th - August 7th this year. So my advice to you is if you plan on visiting a loved one at CMC during those dates and you plan on staying overnight then you better book a motel/hotel room NOW! Trust me, the rooms sell out in Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, bascially everywhere when the fair is in town.

No problem girls...I just don't want anyone to get turned away from a motel/hotel because of NO-Vacancy.

Just an FYI, I checked the Motel 6 South online for the weekend of July 30th and they only had 1 queen bed - smoking rooms left. I also checked the Motel 6 North and they have a few double beds - Non Smoking left, so make sure you book your room now. Even if you're not sure fi you will be staying just book the room and if you don't go make sure you cancel 24 hours in advance so you don't get charged. That way you'll at least have a room if you do decided to stay the night. :thumbsup:
