Hi,
I am new here, visiting this side since some months but this is my first try to write. I had one friend with a date one year before. His sentence wAS changed into life. Now two former friends have a set date. Seems not to end. I´m really sad. It´s not easy to open but wanted to try. Ok.:( I´m getting sad and mad again. That´s all for now.

(((hugs))) I am so sorry about your friends, the news about your friend thats sentence got commuted to life is great, and gives us all hope, but your other friends, I am so sorry. One day this nightmare will end, and we wont have to feel the pain that you are feeling right now.
Please stick around, and if you ever want to talk, Im here :) I am so glad that you found the boards, you will get alot of support here, I promise you that!

Thanks for the nice welcome, hugs (Felt good :o )...the night was long and I waited for the day. And now I think Oh, my God - one day less for him. Well that´s not fair. I wrote a letter to the Gov. and Board. The sixth. I could burst. :angry: and have to be :cool: for all around. And yesterday I received a letter of black penpal I wrote to. Now I know why he didn´t answer. He has depressions. He´s going to give up hisself and asked me to pray. That´s too much !!! Any :idea: s. Why does this all come to me ???:confused:

I am sorry you have to go through all this at once, you sound like a very strong person. All you can do is let them know you are there for them and never loose faith. I know it makes you angry, but turn that anger around, to keep the fight going for all of them on death row. We dont know what really goes through these guys minds, finding out the date that may be their last day, but you have been chosen for a reason. As I said, all you can do is stay positive, and let him know that you are there for him, no matter what.

Thanks. I´m not in the mood to write more at the moment. I was hurt again.And it really broke my :broken: a second time,and this time more than before. It began to heal. Yesterday I received a letter of a friend telling me he loves me and that he thanks me for being such a great friend. I would like to give up writing evryone today. :confused: The one who hurt me so much took away all my strength a second time. I want to leave because I cannot bear lies again. The one who was so kind to me and send me these words about friendship and love is worth to write back and seems to need my friendship. But I doubt all at the moment. I wished I would know how to go on. :idea:

Sometimes we seem overwhelmed, and it seems alot to cope with, but the best advice I can give is, just take it one day at a time, some of our pals hurt us yes but we have to remember not everyone is like that. Do not make the ones who care suffer because of that. They need you :)
