Now that my honey's on the other side of the planet, we were thinking about putting in for a hardship. Even though I visit the most, his father is diabetic and on a lot of medications and is having knee surgery soon, etc... We thought we'd give it a shot, but what are the chances?

Do you think it's worth the risk of going from a "good" laid back unit to a possible "rough" one? He likes the unit, just hates the distance.

I'd love to have him closer, but I don't want him to catch a case. Catch 22 situation, I suppose.:confused:

I would try and call the chaplin at his unit and ask him who you would get in touch with. It is worth a shot......
