Hello... I am a Mexican lady who lived for 17 years with an American man, now in prison at USP Pollock... Of course, I know nothing related to this... Whichever information you give me will be great... We are not married, but lived like if so... I might go and visit him in a month or so... Are there facilities to stay around that are not expensive?... Could you tell me the visitors rules?... May I bring him a present; what am I allowed to?... Visit days?... :fb:

Mexicana, if y'all lived together that long, was it a common law marriage? Just asking because he may have put you down that way when he went in. If he did, there are benefits. If he did not, he may not be allowed to change it. I am not sure about where to stay around there, hopefully someone will be along shortly who knows about that particular prison and its particular rules

Just some general fed rules....You can't wear the colors the guards or prisoners wear, green, khacki, orange....You got one kiss and hug at the beginning and the end of the visit....No shorts, short skirts (above the knee), see thru clothing, low cut tops or hight cut slits in skirts....usually, you cannot take any more than twenty dollar bills in, but they really do not count the change. If I can think of anything else, I will post or pm you.

Hello... We lived that long together... We are not married, but I am his common law wife, if that is the term... The police came to get him to Mexico and and I haven't seen him ever since (a year ago, aprox)... He is still in transit, and I know nothing about the American institutions (or mexican)... In my research I found out that there is no conyugal visits, which is ok as long as I can see him, at least... Thank you for your reply... I really appreciate it... :cuffs:

He is an American... During his time here in Mexico he was excellent... His problems came from the past life in the USA.:pissed:

Sorry to hear about that. I hope he did list you as his wife. That way you can call and get more information when you need to and you can also visit him at the transit centers if he listed you as his wife, common law or not.

Also, I just found out for you that the visiting days are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The visits start at 8am and go to 3pm. You have to be there before 2pm to get a visit.

Thank you for your help... He just told me that he will send a form to fill up by me... Probably to visit him... He is still in the state where was sentenced, and will be transferred to Oklahoma where he will be for three weeks about and after that, he thinks he will be moved to USP Pollock... So I still have a lot of time to be able to see him... I am anxious... Thank you for your time and support.
