Did anyone watch the Indy race yesterday? For the first time ever they had a woman lead a lap. I do believe that Danica Patrick would have won it if she'da had enough gas to go full force at the end!

I'm not a big Indy fan, but I got drawn into it at work yesterday. Now this 22 year old woman is just barely 5 feet tall and weights like 100 pounds! But she handled that car yesterday like the pro she is!

I do believe that I'll be tuning in to more Indy races this year to keep a watch on her! She definitely proved she can hang with the boys!!

I was so upset she didn't win. I mean honestly... I don't remember being so upset about anyone not winning a race as I was her and I only caught the last part of the Indy.. Being a racer at heart... I can't describe how proud I am of her.. I know how she was feeling too during that post-race enterview... It sucks to be where she was and not win but she handled it all cool as ice.. She will go far and I'll be one of her biggest fans. :)

I know just how you felt! Her day is coming though and you are right, she will go far! With you and me as her fans, she can't lose, David!!

Maybe one of these days when I'm in Houston we'll be able to take in one of her races at those ice houses down there!!!

It must get dizzy going around and around in circles like that... :P I prefer road courses :P

But it was a good achievement :)
