I'm curious...how often do you get letters from your loved one? How often do you send him/her a letter?

When my fiance was at Cummins, I wrote to him EVERY day. He wrote more sporadically - sometimes 5 times a week, sometimes not at all, and sometimes I'd get 3 letters in one day. I still have every letter he's written to me. Since he's been a 309 (the last 8 months), we rarely, rarely ever write because we talk on the phone a bunch and see each other a lot more.

Well I Write To My Honey More Than He Writes To Me. But Thats All Good. He Looks Forward To Mail More Than I Do. I Write To Him Atleast Once A Day, Sometimes More :-) I Would Say I Get A Letter From Him About Once A Week. But He Is Getting Better With Writing Me More. His Excuse Is We Talk Everyday On The Phone, So He Doesnt Have Much To Say.

we used to write every day - for about the first 1.5 years, and i kept every letter. I've thrown them all away - we won't be looking back fondly on them. Now i don't write very much, and he writes at least 3 times a week. Mostly he's just trying to convince me to hang in here and convince me it will be fine when he comes home.

Julie, if you don't mind my asking, why don't you write him very much now?
I don't think I could ever throw any letters away, but then again there are some days that I get so mad that I just want to burn every single one of them. The last week or so, i've been so mad because he seems to have forgotten how to pick up a freaking pen and write a damn letter  So, I was just wondering about you not writing letters. I could go on and on but that would just make me mad and i'd rather not be mad.

I write my baby just about everyday. I tell him he doesn't have to write back for every letter I send, but he does. I get mail just about every other day (except Sunday's)

Woundedangel: A year and a half with no letters? What the hell?
I'm pissed for not getting a letter in over a week. A year? I'm still in awe of that one.

My husband writes me every other day, and I try to write him at least every day if not more. He really likes hearing the simple things...boring stuff that we do around here day to day...so it's easy to write daily. They really miss the little things we take for granted. I guess reading about it is the closest they get to actually being here. What he may not realize is that he is in my thoughts all day long, so he is with me in everything I do!
