Hi, everyone! I met my boyfriend 9 years ago in alabama. we went out for four months but ended breaking up because of our age difference even though we were extremely attracted to each other and had an instant connection in the way we think and talk.. I am 20 years older than him.I ended up leaving alabama and havent sen him again until this past March I visited him in the dallas co. jail. I am 49 but many people tell me I look 29 and anyway when he seen me the old feelings just flooded back and we have been writing since March. I have never dated anyone in prison before but I know him already. I live in Vermont now and am planning a visit at Christmas. It is really hard though. any advice or info on Bibb correctional facility.

Welcome to PTO! Like Denise, my husband is also currently at Bibb County Correctional in Brent, AL. I would be happy to help you in any way possible as well...Just PM me and let me know if you have any specific questions and I will try to answer them if I can, or help you to find the answers if I don't know myself. We're awfully glad that you've found the PTO site and welcome you to this family of people who truely understand the plight of those whose loved ones are incarcerated, and truely care about you. Hi! everyone ! sorry I havent been able to post in awhile just been busy working my butt off up here in Vt. My man is still in Bibb Co. the only thing that has gone wrong there is that someone stole his stamps and he wasnt able to write for a week. I about went crazy. he calls every Sunday though. it is still an adjustment for me because I have never went wth anyone in prison before and I knew him and went out with him before so I love and miss him so much. He is up for Parole in January 2007. I hope to God he makes it out because I dont know how much of this I can handle. But I guess i will deal with it because i dont want anyone in this world but him.He seems to be alright at bibb though so Im glad its bearable for him. he never complains. I really admire him for that. anyway just wanted to say hi and if you hear any news about Bibb let me know or just want to talk Im here. thanks for your support!

My husband is at Bibb also, I go visit every other Sunday, its a long way from where I live but I make the trip because I know that its important to him to have a visit. Have you been down yet? Its alright, I have been to others where we are treated lots human, and I've been to others that has treated us less human, so either way we go, its still prison. They do not have tables so we are forced to eat in our laps, they usually get over crowed so we are forced to leave early, which upsets me very much. I drive 2and 1/2 hours to visit, 2 hours, just one more price that we pay. But we endure. Hopefully his stay will be the best it can be being locked-up, and we return before the board in 2007 also, so we have two things in common. I'am currently off-line at home, so I come over and check out whats going on prison talk,. Its very important to me. Take care and hang-in-there.

It was so nice to hear from you small town, I live in Vermont so it is imposiible for me to see my boyfriend right now but Im going down in December for a visit and moving back down next summer. I just have to finish this year of college. I miss him so much and sometimes it is so hard. Thank you for the info on Bibb visitation Is there anything you can think of that I absolutely cant do or wear because I would hate to travel all the way down to ala. and get turned away. Ive never been to a prison before so thats why Im asking. My boyfriend and I went together 9 years ago so its sort of a reunion.I hope yours and mine make it out in2007so we can all be happy again.
