Well, I've got some possibly good news but it may just be a rumor, whatever the case it's definitely unconfirmed. As y'all know Brian's next parole hearing was scheduled for February 2003, and with the Parole Board being so behind that date's come and gone and we've been still waiting to hear when it will actually be scheduled.

As it turns out, we've learned that one of Brian's old friends from Draper, who was also scheduled for February 2003, has been told his is scheduled for September 2003. Who told him, how he knows, how they know, whether it's just a rumor, etc., we don't know... but it's better than nothing! The waiting to get a scheduled date and not knowing anything at all is what's been killing me, this is a little something to be able to hang on to! 'cos if that guy's going up in September then Brian should be too... and Cember's guy Mark, who was scheduled for November 2002, I'm guessing might get scheduled for June or July.

In any case I'm hoping that since this guy already knows maybe Brian will be getting official word about his soon... will keep y'all posted!

Thanks ladies! You're right, Monica, about that list being a tease (and they didn't update it for, what, three weeks or more since the last update)... grrr. However, one of Brian's acquaintances is on that current list and is going up April 8th, so it finally made me feel better that at least SOMEONE we know is actually on the posted list.

Soon as I get any word I'm changing that counter below to reflect the parole hearing date... woohoo, it feels good to even be thinking about doing that! :)

Don't be holding your breath or expect much, Cember... it took 'em ages to update it again the last time they did, and they only tacked on a couple more weeks' worth of hearings when they finally got around to doing it. Much like that old bat at the prison, they're slow as molasses. :(
