I agree Sharron, We need to at least pick a location and Date so that planning can be done earlier than last time.... I think we will have a much larger crowd if we do that...

Phil....Paris sounds wonderful!

I think if it is annual it will be next March. March was chosed for a few reasons....weather, school breaks etc. I still think it is a great time of year regardless of location.
Since the 1st was in Texas, next years will be in another state. Some people have mentioned they would like the east coast, other's mentioned St. Louis. We've got a lot of time but if anyone wants to start throwing out suggestions after a few come in we can have a vote.

Paris sounds wonderful... If given enough time, and enough people to go I could get an excellent rate for everyone! Group discounts that time of year are wonderful! Ill help in any way possible....Even if it is east coast/west coast let me know we can work something out

We will be putting together a Conference planning committee in the near future who will investigate the best place to have the conference next year. Some of the factors that will be considered will be PTO membership size in a specific region, cost of travel and lodging in the potential meeting site, and actual members able to make the trip to that location from different places across the U.S., Canada and other locations.

I too would love to hold it in Paris.. ;) But.. What does that cost? $200 round trip, all inclusive? lol

Well since members range from the USA to Australia, via Europe, Paris seems to be a central location !!! :D

From a very selfish point of view, the East coast would be better for the European members, and of course, Florida would be PERFECT for some European members !!!! :) What do you think Mara ???

Believe it or not Fed, I went to Palma de Majorca, Spain from Buffalo, NY round trip, hotel, 2 meals a day and lots of other inclusions, 10 days and 9 nights for $210.

Course that was back in 1974, but isn't the dollar holding firm against the Euro-dollar??? LOL!!!

Phil, j'aimerais vraiment venir à Paris!!

Well, wherever it is, I'm sure my God will give me "more than enough" to make it, because He is a God of "more than enough" and I live in His abundance!!

I'm ready!! oooooh oooooh oooooh, I've got it!! Hawaii!! We all meet in the middle!!

Although I'm on the East coast...I vote for sunny California, or rainy as was the case this year:rolleyes:

Southern California that is!!!:D

or if people would like to see a New England Spring, I'll recommend Connecticut:p

I"ll cast the first vote for Northern Virginia... Metro DC...

Plenty of stuff to do here beside PTOing.... and oh, well, there's always the opportunity to picnic infront of the Justice Department....

Did I mention that you get your own personal airmarshall on every flight into here?

Give it some thought... I am nothing if not a good hostess.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhhhh! !!!! Our currency is the Euro and definitely NOT the Euro-dollar !!!! You need $1,15 for 1€ !! :p

Hawaii is not in the middle for European members !! California is rainy, there are almost no flights to Connecticut, so Florida is still the best option !! :D :D

DFW would be nice, given the Hotels are hurting for business here, they might cut some really good deals.

Phil,

I would love to do it in Paris...erm the Conference I mean. I haven't been in Paris since 1985 when my girlfriend and her girlfriend had this jar of blackberry jam... and O nevermind... that's a whole story unto itself.. (snicker)

I LOVE THE IDEA OF PAREE'.... BUT THERE ARE QUITE A FEW PLACES WE CAN HAVE IT.

A Central location would still be best for all US persons. I love the DC thought too. Dallas maybe.... Mexico...

Who Knows

Umm.... Just my two cents... I think St.Louis sounds like the best idea so far, (sorry Phil):)....

Personally, as long as I have enough notice, I'll make it wherever it's at... but Mo is sort of in the middle... know what I mean??? Well, of the US anyway...

Ok, forget... lets do it in Paris....

On a serious note... the sooner we figure out where, the better. I'll have to save some pennies if I'm gonna be traveling!

Las Vegas, NV where the group rates are super, meal discounts, dancing and a lot to do besides gambling.

Oh ya, the dollar has been falling in value for a year now over sea's, in fact almost world wide now, as I read today.
