The show also visits some of the harshest prisons in America including California's Corcoran Prison, Michigan's Scott Correctional Facility and death row in a Huntsville, Texas prison, the nations most active execution unit. The documentary also relates the dramatic story of two correctional officers whose life-threatening investigation of brutality in California's Corcoran prison resulted in new state rules protecting inmates.
