I found Circle Pines Center in a travel book about BArry County. The Center is north of Kalamazoo.

I emailed them about a get to gether, but it would have to be prior to June 14th. I was up front with them about WHO we were and what we are all about, wondering what the response would be.

In response, I found a very warm welcome from the person who I have emailed. Her name is Tracy and she just returned from Nicaragua where among other things, she visited a prison with a prison advocate.

Even if we can't use their center this summer...maybe in the future we could have some mini conferences and such through out the winter months!!!

I checked out the website after you first mentioned it and I thought they looked good and I like what they stand for etc....It is way cool that the woman was so friendly and warm and accepting and that she had visited a prison etc....It makes me think maybe we might want to think about this place instead. What was the other place's response to you? Did you tell them who we were etc..?

No..I didn't mention it with RR Ranch...

According to Circle Pines..we would have to have our get 2 gether prior to June 14th because of their summer camps. We would have to either do this in May or June...like May 31-June 1st or June 7-8.

I do like the idea of their center........traci said right from the get go......."OUR CENTER IS TOTALLY AVAILABLE TO YOUR GROUP. I had not gotten a response from them before I posted the RR Ranch items.....maybe I should have waited!!!

Just so you know--I just tried going into the website you have above for them and couldn't.....People may just want to just search for Circle Pines Center. That's what I did before.

I wonder if those dates would work for others? June 7th is my birthday.....but that's ok. Whenever we have it--I'll probably do visits too since we're down there.....
