Here is a link to a wonderful map of Africa. It ends at Cairo. Please use it if you are not sure when posting in this site. That is if your Geography is as bad as mine :)

Thanks for sharing this, Keltria. There are many times I have wanted to see exactly where something was taking place I was following in the news but always had a hard time locating a good map. This one is really good. I've been checking it out for the past 20 minutes.

I may be going on a benefit climb next year for the Amputee Org. of America to Tanzania to climb Mount Killmanjaro. If anyone want to check out this African mountain, follow this link. My Doctor friend has done it twice before and my best friend that is missing a leg is going on this climb. They're still working out the details but I am going to do my best to attend. It's a 14 day trip from the bottom to the top and back down. I believe that is what they said, anyways...

I am glad you found the map useful. I know that I have many times. I know a business friend who has taken on Kilimanjaro, and she said it was one of the most wonderful things she has ever done and that her next conquest is Everest. If you can then you must go, it is a wonderful place. I have heard of the benefit climbs and the endurance and willpower these people have is just amazing. Please tell your friend who is going to climb that I take my hat off to him and that I hope he has a wonderful experience, and if you go I hope you do too. :)
