I know that it has been a while since you wrote it but it struck a large warning bell . He is your husband, and anyone who tells you to abandon him, run because it is a set up from the pit. In your season not your husband's but your season of reaping the seed that you sowed, you are learning and growing with God. God may had to seperate you both to get both of your attentions of each of your levels, he is trying to talk to you. Yes you are to minister to your husband and he unto you, but as for him not being able to be your covering, if he is getting himself right with God in prison he is still your covering. I am concerned that a Pastor would tell you to move on, God is the author and the finisher of everything including the institution of marriage, why do you think he tell us that we are to leave our parents and cleave(HOLD ON TO ENDEARINGLY/LIFE UNTO DEATH)unto each other allowing no man to tear asunder what he put together. Your first ministry is your marriage. My husband is in prison and yes he is my cover but God also tells me that when my head(Tracy)is out of order it is MY JOB to stand the Gap and intercede for him, myself and my marriage. Satan has been well at his job of tearing up the sanctity of marriage. I Urge anyone who reads this or has had a similiar experince to do a few things, first "touch not my annointed nor do my prophet no harm" , there is alot in that, remember that Saul was appointed and annointed by God and was even given to a reprobate mind, David could not touch him and neither could his men, God will recompense(repay)all, some Pastors need alot of prayer you can't take everything they say to heart try the spirit by the spirit God will give you a spirit of discernment(knowing those who possess the true nature of God , and weed out those who profess from their lips, while their hearts are far from him), second , fast if you want to hear from God yourself(He loves questions) fast and seek his face, allow God to minister directly to you and he loves you just that much that he will be faithful and answer. There are many fasts if you are'nt used to doing it start small from sunup to noon nothing to eat or drink or if you have medical problem a little fruit. God doesnt' want you to fall out, he wants your sacrifice. Praise Him through it all and read your word. Please don't leave your husbands on the word of a Pastor, ask God first. And if the Lord tells you that you are to stay he will confirm HIS word out of the mouth of two or three everyword will be established. Those who will confirm his word won't realize it but you must stay alert and listen for the voice of God, there is no question that God will not answer, but be willing to accept HIS answer. AmenI am concerned about the areas I highlight because you are saying not to slander or talk about the man of God but you are telling a child of God not to listen to their pastor. There is also a scripture that says: God will give us pastors according to his heart; which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. The pastor is the shepard to the sheep and if you don't agree with your shepard then you should pray and intercede the Lord to guide into the right direction whether it be what you want or not! The pastor is the leader because he intercedes with Lord for direction as well; I won't challenge the fact that the flesh has to be slayed daily and that is amongst any saved individual whether it be the Shepard or his sheep. But there is a vow we take upon when we marry; Till death do us part, sickness, health so on and so forth...but all marriages dont have happy ending; that's why bible says be ye not unequally yoked with non-believers that includes if you are saved or not that spirit has to line up on one accord because you never know where your marriage life can lead you; just like two unsaved people getting married and of different religious backgrounds but since they aren't saved they consider it not making a difference; one is stronger than the other and because of that strength it leads that individual back into the eyes of God....There is a possibility the two would then struggle within the marriage if the weaker mate is not willing to conform to the other mate's decision to return to the Lord....and in that case it is good to at least make sure you are believing in the same thing! A Pastor wouldn't instruct a member to separate marriage for no reason...Marriage or sucessful marriage depends on one's own ability to fight and keep the marriage alive, making God first and foremost.
