Hello I just wanted to know if there was a page limit on letters to CARSWELL FMC? I am writing my long lost friend and up to 8 pages and Ive only talked about my daughter who is 14 months. 8 pages just about her. I have alot more to talk about. so does anyone knows if there is a page limit to federal prisons (CARSWELL FMC)?

Thank You,
Beth Ann

I'm not absolutely 100% sure, but I don't think there is a page limit on letters. Maybe if it's 100 pages long, but certainly not 20 or so.

Thank you both for your reply. The letter ended up being 12 pages. I got sleepy and went to bed. But thanks again for both your replys. I guess the worst that will happen is they will send it back or something. Who knows. I just wasent sure if there was a limit on letters for federal inmates.

So Thank you for your help,
Beth Ann

I've often mailed 20-30 pages at a time without problems. Heck, I even mailed a copy of a typewriter manual and it was 120 pages. (My hubby got a little bit of crap over it because they said it was a "book." He showed them that it was a manual for the typewriter in the library that no one could figure out, so they let it slide.) I would only recommend not cramming too many pages into a normal envelope--you don't want to tick off the people in the mailroom.
