I knew something was wrong when my man didn't call me today. He usually calls me everyday, but I didn't get a call today. So being the worry bug that I am I just called the prison. I was told by the CO that answered that the entire prison is on lockdown and that they've been on lockdown since this morning. :( He couldn't tell me how long they will be on lockdown or why, but I just wanted to share this info. with you all so you won't worry like I was. :rolleyes: By any chance does anyone know why they are on lockdown??? :confused:

Oh girl YES! It's REALLY BAD!! He gets so upset and so do I! You're lucky you get calls everyday. I used to get them like twice a week and now that they got more phones it's like 4 times a week, Yay!! But still every call is GOLD to us and that hanging up crap is freakin annoying!

I just visited this last weekend and they still dont have the "visiting procedure" fIgured out yet, its a mess! Just another annoying thing to deal with!

It's funny how our guys trip out that we know stuff before they get a chance to tell us! I dont even need to do any FBI work cause you already did it!

:( OMG! My Honey is on A-Quad! Im worried!! He was going to school right after our phone call. I hope no one got hurt too bad. Now Im gonna be nervous until he calls. Im glad they are off lockdown now though.

Bobby calls every day. how much is your phone bill?? LOL like mine is not big with CDC calls DSL and ulimited long distance mine is 120.00 a month and I am always catcing up with the month before. UPDATE:

OKay here's an update. I was wrong about everyone being off of lockdown. Everyone except A Quad are off of lockdown. Apparently this was a Code 2 riot that turned into a Code 3 on the yard of A Quad. There were more than 100 black & Southern Hispanic inmates from A Quad that were involved. The fighting started on the 1st & 2nd tier of A Quad and escalated out onto the yard of A Qaud. There was not enough room in Ad/Seg (the hole) for all the men that were involved so some of the men are on CTQ status in their cells on A Quad and are awaiting placement into Ad/Seg. There was also a bus that was sent to the prison to transfer some of the men to other prisons that were involved in the riot, because there isn't enough room in Ad/Seg.

So if your loved one is on A Quad and he is either Black or Southern Hispanic I would definitely contact the East Facility Records to find out if he is still there and if he's in the hole. The number is (805) 547-7900 and press 0 for the operator and ask to be transferred to "East Records." The records department are open M-F 8-4.

Oh Man my guy is on that yard but he is not black or hisp. that is good that they are sending them away to another prison, they should be on a level 4 yard if they are ploting riots. well there points just went up for fighting. do you know if anyone got hurt meaning others that were just standing buy?? hope not. I guess A Quad is a ruff yard that it what I herd. thanks agian for the infromation.

I don't know if any innocent by standers got hurt. I will definitely check into it and let you know tomorrow okay. Yes A Quad is the ruffest yard at CMC. That's usually where they send all the new arrivals. An incident similar to this one happend on A Quad about a month or two ago and they men were told that if this happened again then they'd be on lockdown for about 6 months (just A Quad). :eek: So we'll see what happens. :rolleyes: Thankfully my man isn't on A Quad.

oh man 6 months well that serves them right if they mess up they do have to learn that is why they are in prison. but I would miss hearing from my honey, I understand if it happens. we will just have to wait and see. thanks for the infromation agian.
