You Scored 55% Correct

You are a solid child of the 80s
You'd never confuse Tiffany from Debbie
And while you may not know Prince's first #1 hit
You know every word to Little Red Corvette

According to this I found on Vh1.com, it was Like a Virgin. Madonna's second album, the Niles Rodgers-produced Like a Virgin, was released at the end of 1984. The title track hit number one in December, staying at the top of the charts for six weeks; it was the start of a whirlwind year for the singer. http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/madonna/bio.jhtml

Well I shouldn't even admit what I scored on this one!! My excuse is that I had a new baby in 1981 and while I certainly love music, I was not as up on the artists of the songs because I was so busy being a new mom throughout the decade. (My score was 5%!!!). Ask me about the '70's and I'll nail it!!

I made 40% A little dissapointing, but I still LOVE the 80's!! Who was the " I want my MTV" singer?? I guessed Phil Collins

That one I knew, Jesse...it was Sting.

The Madonna one got me too, I knew there was a song before Like A Virgin and I was pretty sure it was Lucky Star, but I guess it didn't make it to number 1.

But you won't be showing up on I Love the 80s anytime soon
You sometimes recognize a hit from the 80s

Usually in the form of a cover song

Not that bad since I was born in the 80's
