Do you like a food combo that others find strange? I had a friend who would put ketchup on everything . Anyone else have cravings for unconventional combinations ? (I read about someone who loved cheese in her coffee!!!) Maybe this will inspire others to try something new!

O.k.-This sounds very bad-but it is really very good.Frito corn chips (scoops)with rocky road ice cream.You scoop the ice cream into the chip and eat it slowly.The sweet and salty goodness is the best.This is my favorite treat.

Sugar on pizza! My friend went to Hawaii and they do that there, apparently. He showed it to me and I tried it... yum!

Peanut butter, balogna, cheddar cheese, pickle, potatoe chip, mustard, Mircle Whip sandwhich.

When I need a sodium fix I eat bologna and ketchup - lots of salt! I also like peanut butter and Miracle Whip sandwiches.

My mom likes pineapple and mayonnaise sandwiches and mayo on saltines.

I have to have buttermilk ranch dressing on mostly everything like french fries sandwiches and i like chocolate chip cookies dipped in french onion potato chip dip

my mashed potatas must be mixed with peas or corn , (( if thats the vegatable we eat with em ))

grilt (( thats da way we spell it )) cheeses , i like a dabble of katsup , sometimes ..

i like summer sausage , cheddar cheese , pickles and crackers , as a dip tray !!

I eat dill pickles (either the whole dill pickle...or the halfs) dipped in Peanut Butter. And this really isn't unusual but, sometimes I'll fix a bowl of ice cream (any flavor) and put Peanut Butter in the bottom of the bowl...and mix it all together! :p

I read somewhere else about someone liking this! It seems like such a strange combination - how would one think about doing this unless it was a family or regional tradition ?

QQ - Grilled cheese dipped in ketchup isn't unusual! I love it! I also like putting spaghetti sauce in the sandwich before grilling! Makes it a sorta pizza-wich! YUMMY!

I love pretzels with vanilla ice cream too - old family tradition!

Baked potatoes smashed with smoked sausage, cheese and barbeque sauce - learned this from watching the folks at Steak Escape!

Ranch on pizza is AWESOME! I'd never had it until this year when Whiskey introduced it to me.

This isn't so unusual, but it's something I grew up with and unusual to some people: Bananas and peanut butter on toast or bread. I used to LOVE it when I was a little girl, now I don't like bananas anymore, but oh well!

I think that's about as unusual as I get. Ya'll definitely have more unusual ones than I do. Hehe.

I am a VERY PICKY eater... so unusual doesn't go too far with me. I do like ranch on pizza, but not as much as I like hot sauce on pizza!!!!! I like peanut butter and raisin sandwiches... it's actually really good!!! And probably the weirdest one for me is syrup on scrambled eggs... don't knock it till you've tried it!!!!!:D

Tears - peanut butter and raisins??? Ya can't be too picky then! EWWWW! :yuck: But, I do like syrup on eggs too!

Ketchup and mayo mixture or ranch dressing on ANYTHING!! I spent 7 months in a rehab (aka...state food!)...but we were lucky enough to have condiments...so now I just can't go without it!!! Rice and pizza are the best with these things. That's what I normally eat anything with...but here are a few others
Fritos and vanilla ice cream....french fries dipped in chocolate pudding...sour krout (sp?) with ketchup and mustard...a pickle wrapped in bologna...pickles dipped in ketchup...graham crackers (cinnamon perferably) and cream cheese. I could just keep going...LOL!!!

Mine's pretty tame compared to some, but I like french fries or onion rings dipped in chunky bleu cheese dressing. Also, a wedge of brie cheese with pesto or green chile salsa poured on top then baked and eaten w/ crackers of any kind.

LOL Kaitie!!!! I just told my grandma I was gonna go to the store for pickles!!! But then I realized it was 10 oclock and the stores around me just closed!!! WAAAHHHH:( LOL!!

Well, it's actually not bad at all!!! Don't knock it till you've tried it!!!!!!! My mom used to make it when I was a little kid and I've just liked it since then. I really don't eat it too often because I'm not too much of a peanut butter person anymore, but sometimes, when I'm in the mood for peanut butter, I'll eat that. My mom started making me that because I've ALWAYS HATED jelly. She tried something different... and I liked it. I have ALWAYS been a picky eater, trust me!!!!! I hate most foods out there, honestly. There aren't too many things that you can get me to eat... it drives my man CRAZY because he never knows what to get me. He can never bring food home for me because if he does, I usually won't eat it because it will have something wrong with it. I'm a bi**h sometimes, but that's why he loves me... he's an a$$ too!!!!Tears - peanut butter and raisins??? Ya can't be too picky then! EWWWW! :yuck: But, I do like syrup on eggs too!

Ha ha! I LOVE ranch on pizza! I guess my strangest food is pickles wrapped in cream cheese and salami.....it's BEAUTIFUL! Probably not so weird, I would have to say hot dogs in macaroni and cheese. I love it!

i guess mine would be, and it is good, so here goes:mashed potatoes with applesauce on top and then corn or peas on top of the applesauce. It IS really good, when i started eating it that way, i have no idea.

ok, i have two... first this sounds nasty, but its good. you know that cheese that comes in the airated can (easy cheese), ok well that on oreos... the cheese brings out the flavor in the chocolate, i swear!

Also, they sell this on the southside a lot (hispanic neighborhood) and i swear when i am prego, this is what i will crave... its corn, taken off the cob, mixed with butter, mayo, chili powder, lime juice and grated parmagean cheese. its so spicy and creamy and corney... YUMMMY im craving some NOW. Damn.

I love banana sandwiches ( sliced banana on white bread with mayo). I also like scrambled eggs and bacon stirred into grits. I like to stir ketchup into brown gravy and pour it over or dip french fries. I love tomato sandwiches (white bread and mayo with sliced tomato). Would never know I came from the south, huh???

My Husband Mixes Brown Suger, Ketchup, mustard, with his pork and beans. Ive never heard of it until I met him. I dip my pizza, bread sticks in ranch if that counts.

I make scrambled eggs with Pepperidge Farm stuffing, years ago someone turned me on to this to stretch a recipe when you are low on funds...
I also like to drink Dr. Pepper for Breakfast with grape jelly and butter on white bread, sometimes toasted sometimes not. No particular reason..

Pickles with popcorn?

Never tried pickles with popcorn, but potato chips dipped in picke juice is good and way better than the pickle flavored chips that you can buy.

you might not think this is weird but I like to mix doritos (cheese) ranch style beans and velveeta cheese. Something like frito pie I guess. I call it mexican style frito pie. I like fried potatoes with mayo too. What is the best though is vanilla sandwhich cookies with cheddar cheese slices.

Okay I love french fries dipped in Hot Fudge Sundaes or Ice Cream. Now this one is really weird. My Mom loves these sandwiches and none of us kids will try it. Peanut Butter, Miracle Whip and Tomato Sandwiches, it just grosses me out the thought of it but she loves them.

I am a peanut butter freak! I eat peanut butter on my waffles, pancakes, and french toast..with syrup! YUM!

I am a lover of both onions and mustard. I love to fix a fried egg sandwich with a slice of onion on it and mustard on the bread.

Often times when I am low on groceries, I always have onions and mustard though, I will chop an onion and put it in a bowl and pour mustard in it and eat it like that. Yumm good!!

I have to have milk with my pizza also, but I do like not often though is hot dogs and peanut butter, or baloney and peanut butter sandwiches!!!

Pickles and A-1 sauce, I used to eat it alot, but not so much anymore.

OK, first off ketchup goes on anything, just ask any kid.

Second, Beth Ann, I didn't know there was a different way to make baked beans than what your husband is doing, lol! Is he from the south?

I like doritoes on my sandwich, have to be nacho cheese though.

I also weannies split down the middle filled with left over mashed potatoes and covered with a slice of cheese, bake until they are warm. YEA! My favorite!

First off Butter, real Butter, pretty much goes on everything I eat in very liberal amounts. You know the line from the Simpsons. Homer says, 'Bart, Butter your bacon' Well that's me. I've even gone so far as to fry cerial in butter.

The other combo that always works for me is anything salty and sweet. French Fries and a Chocolate Milk shake or candy bars and potoato chips.

And how could I forget, I like my coffee some what old, and at room tempature to even maybe cold!

I noticed a lot of people really like ketchup, I'm an odd one there, I hate ketchup. I also hate ice cream and most people find that really odd.

Been gone for a while but I just saw this string and wanted to say I love PB & Dill Pickles. I also eat my french fries with tarter sauce. Popcorn with potato chips is awesome and it's not that bad with some chocolate chips too. Again that sweet and salty combination.

I dip my french fries in Ranch & Ketchup mixed together. lol everyone thinks I'm so gross when I do it, but its good! Try it! hehe =op

I love tomatoes with hot chili peppers in them on my cottage cheese too! Now do not let this gross you out. I love biscuits and gravy with 2 egg (over medium) smashed and mixed up in it with dill pickles and onions mixed in too! Yummy. No I am not pregnant lol

My whole family also eats ketchup on our tacos. My favorite sandwich is sliced onion and tomato on wheat with salt and pepper only. Also if we have steak and salad I eat them mixed together. I cut the steak and put it in the salad but only at home.

Okay, I have to say that the Ranch on pizza is a MUST! Pizza just doesn't taste the same without it. Ranch on French fries, unless it's McDonalds, then I have to have Sweet & Sour sauce, melted cheese on a doughnut, mac & Cheese with barbeque sauce and brown sugar, banana and mayo sandwiches, ranch dressing mix (the dry stuff in the pouch) on popcorn. That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure there's more.

Banana and pretzels taste really good together. Also, when I was younger I loved "garlic crunchies"--melt a tiny bit of butter in a frying pan over medium heat; when it's all melted, sprinkle garlic powder and then pour some Cheeries/Corn chex/Kellogs19 (whichever cereal you prefer) and stir until it's all coated with the garlic and butter. Yum yum! Tasty snack.

Lol! I'm loving all this! I dunno if anybody else put this one cuz I skipped from page 1 to page 6, but my honey's family has roast beef and saurkraut and they put the saurkraut on top of the mashed potatoes. I'm from the midwest and had never heard of such a thing, but it's good!

I like fried egg chili chutney sandwichs sliced to dip in to cottage cheese mixed with A1 sauce. quite yummy :)

I love hot dogs with cole slaw on it. Then peanut butter sandwiches with marshmellow fluff on it. Been putting chips on my sandwiches since I was a kid.

im not sure if its odd but i eat popcorn with vinegar on it...actually very good....it has to be the yellow cider vinegar.....:D

Some things I eat now or used to eat: crackers with either butter or lemon juice (I ate this when I was a kid), doritos with that spray cheese stuff you use on crackers, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with the oily-type italian dressing on the inside of the sandwich before it's grilled, hotdogs with sauerkraut and mustard, Long John Silver's chicken and french fries with malt vinegar, chips on sandwiches or a sandwich made of either doritos or plain lays by themselves, and breaded okra with Heinz 57 sauce..... lol My best friend eats mayo and grape jelly sandwiches, and both of my baby daddy's eat peanut butter and syrup mixed together in a bowl..... Another friend's aunt and uncle eat grilled cheese sandwiches with peanut butter and jelly on top of them.....

I also like milk with strawberry AND chocolate syrup in it, and when I worked at a fast food Mexican place, my friend made quesadilla's with shredded cheese and cinnamon/sugar.....I wouldn't try it for the longest time, but once I did, I loved it! :rolleyes: :p

I like to peel cucumbers and slice them into a bowl of vinegar and eat them with salt. And I like ketchup and mayo sandwiches and I like worchestershire (sp?) sauce on my scrambled eggs and in macaroni and cheese.

eh...i've been eating hotdogs wrapped in american cheese all day long LOL.

i don't really have too many nasty "likes". but i do like iced tea mixed with soda and fruit juice, and cucumbers sliced in vinegar with salt and pepper (not really nasty lol that's a pickle!), and salad dressing (french YUM) on plain potato chips. oh...i also eat the orea cookie crumbs (you can buy them by the box for cooking)...by the bowlfull. just pour them into the bowl and dig in. i like them better than the whole cookie. oh...sweet and sour sauce on my mcd's french fries and ANYTHING else i buy from there except the drinks...peanuts in my milkshake...YUM.

oh...and i ate a pickled egg for the first time ever the other day and went back for another one LOL.

my sister loves celery with jelly as well as carrots with jelly (i LOVE them with peanut butter)...cornbread with jelly...cereal with milk AND water *UGH* mixed together...crackers with butter...

When I was younger I used to love eating Apple Jack's cereal with Apple juice. Most people gag when I tell them that but to me it just made the cereal taste "appleier" which to me was a good thing.
I also used to like putting pancake syrup in my oatmeal and sometimes my mom would put the oatmeal in the blender and it would be like a big warm milkshake !

We had this discussion last night when I sat down to eat a bowl of chocolate ice cream and crumbled lays potato chips on em. My man thought I was gross. But it taste yummmmy.

i eat ranch on steak actually i eat ranch on everything. popcorn with hotsauce and taco seasoning. doritos with cream cheese. bolonga, cream cheese, and pickles rolled up.

I eat french fries dipped in a chocolate shake, sugar on my cottage cheese, grilled pb and jelly sammiches, grape jelly on sausage, and like alot of you eat chips on my sammichs esp tuna or egg salad...I got this one from my dad-put an over easy egg in the middle of a stack of pancakes, butter ,syrup, and grape jelly...sounds icky but its good!

I like pickled beetroot and potato chip sandwiches for breakfast.

Pickled red cabbage all over chilli is good too.

My mom makes our grilled cheese sandwiches (My 5 year old calls them cooked cheese) with mayo or miracle whip on them instead of butter. They have a slightly differenttaste but are still good and crunchy!

Also I put Lea & Perons Worstershire sauce on my baked potatos. A must or I just don't eat them.

I found something new to add to my "wierd" list... :p My best friend and her mom got me hooked on ham and cream cheese wrapped around pickles...this stuff is soooo good, I can eat like a whole jar of pickles like this! hehe :rolleyes: (I did it once and regretted it later, so never again, but I COULD....lol)
