Talked to my bother at Mule Creek a couple of nights ago. He hadn't been able to call me for the last few weeks. He says they've transferred 1300 from San Quentin and put them in 3 tiered bunks in the day room called E-beds. Says there's been lots of fights - crowding, sleepers and new relationships to deal with. He sent me a letter saying the same thing, but they wouldn't let it out.
He thinks he'll keep his cell, and hopes so, couldn't deal very well with a huge room full of three tier snorers.

I've heard this also here on PTO. My man is at Mule Creek but he hasn't mentioned anything about this to me. 1300 more inmates??? WOW! I don't want to even think about visiting day...it was busy before. :eek: Well, I guess I'll find out Saturday...I'm going to see my baby...:thumbsup:

My man has told me the same thing is going on although I don't know the exact number of prisoners transferred there from SQ. He said it's crazy how packed the place is. He also said that he has been unable to go to the yard the last coulple of days because they are adding trailers to hold mental health prisoners.

Hi ladies...I went today and saw my hunny there at Mule Creek. :D I asked him about the transfers from San Quinten and making the day rooms into sleeping quarters with 3 tier bunk beds. He said they put 3 tier bunks in B yards day room. He's in A yard and says nothing like that is going down in their day room. He also thought that this happened with B yard a while ago...but wasn't real sure. He did say that there is a bunch of new guys there he see's out on the yard. But they don't tell our guys much of anything so who knows. :rolleyes: Visiting wasn't any worse than the usual...actually would have been faster today cause there was less people but the computers went down...figures...it's always something...:rolleyes: But all in all...I had a good visit. Seeing, hugging and kissing my man is always wonderful. If only I could bring him home with me...:(

My bro's on C yard, don't know if that number is just C or total.
