Well everyone,
Jason just called my fax line and said it's urgent. I took the call even though I am still realled mad at him over Mother's day and the ME< ME Thing. He said he had been classified an he was so so so happy, he will not go to St. Clair TC Program (darn, I was really hoping). He said the lady in classifcation didn't see the felony hold from FLorida, she saw Criminal Mischief and took it for a misdeamdor and of corse he didn't correct her(it was at first but then they turned it into a felony) anyway, he said the waiting list for St Clair TC program is 7 mths, and it's now a 12 mth program not 18 mths, but also he didn't qualify. He said her decision was 1st for him to go to Fountain or 2nd to Staton, becasue this was closer to where he was from (I didn't realize the ADOC gave a crap). So now my question, anybody out there know anything about Fountain/Staton, and does anyone have anyone there I can tell Jason to look up. I just found out that Jason's ex-step son (remember Jason age 22 married a 40 yr old/she has a 21 yr old son in Kilby right now. Jason has been talking to him/I told him to stay away(nothing but trouble), but the weird thing is her son is not in the inmate search, I'm wondering if the Fed's could have him in place there, before they both were revoked, there was some serious drug dealing going on. Anyway, I'm calling central records in the am and find out why Mr. Moore is not in the system. I told jason to stay as far away from him as possibe, that when he told me that his ex-step son is going to Fountain too........itn't that just lovely......
Anyway, now any info on Fountain and Staton would be greatly appreciated.

ok, fountain..first thing. been there..wow, what a freakin drive from b-ham. Thats were Kenny was before Bibb. Its very very old and i'm thinking that they have serious water problems down there. I can't remember anything bad, what i do remember is that the food during vistation was a lot better than anyother place we've been, plus Kenny could take items back with him after i left..

I visited a friend of my years ago at staton but don't remember much about it, seems like it was one of the "cleaner" places..

I can't think of any reason why he's step-son wouldn't be on the search thingy, but i don't think the feds would have anyone in a state prison.

but keep in mind that what the classifaction officer tells them don't always mean it happens. When Kenny was at Kilby this last time they told him he would be going to staton and end up easterling..so just hang on until they do move him. you just can't ever tell what the DOC will do.

I was thinking the same thing, Denise. Just because they said Fountain or Staton, doesn't mean that's where he will end up. If that is the closest to you, Linda, then I hope that is where he goes. It will make your phone calls cheaper, if he is close by. :)

Let me know when he gets transfered, Linda. He still might go to Ventress! Also, one day when you least expect it...he just may surprise you...and turn his attitude completely around. When that ME..ME goes, you'll know he is changing for the better! Take care of yourself, let him know you love him, and don't worry too much! He will be alright!

Your right ladies....I'll wait until he is transfered. I did find out the the ex-step son is not in the systems, because he's serving 3 yrs for a burgery he did when he was a juvenile. So therefore, the records are sealed.....But I am still going to tell Jason to stay away from him, after all he didn't need to be freinds with his ex-step son and certainly needs to stay far away from his crank Wh---ex-wife/mother....shall the circle be unbroken...OH YES!!!!!!This kid was a bigger problem then Jason & a record 3 times as long. But still I really wish/think that the TC program would have been great, but the ADOC decides, I guess they think Jason didn't qualify since this is his 1st trip to prison...maybe it's a privlage for the repeater's. God, I hope this time Jason changes his way's I can't go threw another trip like this. Thanks ladies for the support. Hope all

Good luck to you Hon..I will keep you in my prayers. I see what my mother in law has went through, my hubby had gotten in trouble when he was alot younger, and it almost killed her, no one ever thought he would get into trouble though, but he was hanging around with his cousin, who has been in/out of prison since he was 21. When my hubby was in Kilby, they too told him he was going to Stanton, but when the bus pulled up there, they picked up 1 guy and left, my hubby was like, ummm, Im supposed to get off here...they told him that Stanton was overcrowded...like all the prisons arent...So he went to Bibb. I wish all the luck and blessings to your son, keep praying for God to humble him and change his attitude...All things are possible through Him!

I am surprised they gave a crap about how close to home he was too. They certainly don't seem to care that my guy is about as far away from his home in Tennessee as he can get right now.
