ok as some of you may recall........ my love has an open case that has been sitting for over a year now- he just got to the prison (or tha joint as he calls it) two weeks ago.

I checked his case earlier today and there was nothing.

tonight I checked the court program and out of nowhere they got him on an initial appearance for the very same day they found him- however they didn't get him to the video conference room in time TODAY so it was rescheduled for tomorrow~!

I am wondering if any of you had thier man go in front of a judge from prison on video- and if it worked in their favor or not. also, how quickly did the case seem to move?

I don't know what to expect.

Video arraignment is now common. Saves time, money, etc. It's very good for folks with enemies in other jails, or sex offenders, etc. It creates better safety. I love it. As far as results that really depends on his charges, his attitude, and the Judge. Nuff said?

no... they didn't make use of it! they are taking him from the prison in a different county. I wrote this trying to get some 'support' at the time cos it surprized me that his case moved so suddenly after lying dormant over a year.

he missed his first initial appearance cos they threw him in the tank at the jail and
'no one knew' he had court.

but thanks for your support:)
