My guy just told me in a letter recently that they are doing sentence reduction or early release he told me it was on the news and in the paper. Well I do not have cable so do not have much access to the news and I do not buy the paper. So has anyone heard about this and can give me any info on this. I am sort of new to the prison thing so I do not know how to look any of this up on the internet even if they put it on there. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I read the paper online as I live far ... but I have not heard of early realease except to say there is a drug program early release program so if he is in for that he would be applicable...
as well as theya re doing reclasses and seeing who can qualify to get out 60 to 45 days.. so that could be what he is speakig of..
there is no legislation for early release nor government changes

I haven't heard anything as well. The only thing that has been posted was by TomT recentley stating one of the yards were implementing early release. There are alot of rumors & speculation as of right now.
