I just called the 800 visiting hotline number and it said that there is normal visiting for both facilities at CMC this weekend.

However it also said that is should be noted that on Saturday, May 21st there will be NO visiting for CMC East & West Facility. They didn't state why visitng will be closed on that particular date. Does anyone know why there will not be any visits on the 21st???

I just found out that they are saying that there will be NO visiting on the East & West Facility on May 21st because they will be doing electrical work. Honestly it sounds like a bunch of bullsh!# to me because can't that be done on the weekday??? I mean come on now, as it is they have already reduced the visiting days and now this...... :angry: :angry: :angry:

Yes Lisa its so sad but no Visiting due to a Power Outagr and they will be on Auxilary (sp?) Power usage. But their will be visiting on Sunday.

But as you said yes it could and SHOULD be done during the week.

This is just a reminder that there will not be any visiting at CMC East & West Facilities tomorrow, May 21st.

On Sunday May 22nd, CMC West Facility will be open and running on a normal program. However CMC East Facility visiting will be open and running for all quads except A Quad. All inmates on A Quad will not be allowed any visits on Sunday.

If any changes occur to the lockdown status then it will be updated on the visiting hotline number. 1-800-374-8474 then press 131.

Everyone should be able to receive calls from their loved ones. However if your loved one is on A Quad, then they won't be allowed to call, sorry. :(

Is your loved one at CMC??? I noticed in your profile it says he's at Old Folsom so I just wanted to make sure you're posting your question in the right thread? Anyhow, if he is at CMC then there wasn't anything wrong with the phones. However, if he's on A quad then he can't call because they are and have been on locdown.

A yard on lockdown? I got my calls both sat and sunday...was it after that, cause I work during the day and can only get the night calls every 3 days, except weekends...When did lockdown happen?
