Baby Doused With Pepper Spray As Families Argue At Wal-Mart

PONDERAY, Idaho -- Police in Idaho are charging a woman with dousing a 2-month-old with pepper spray.
Police said the incident took place Monday in a Wal-Mart. They said the woman sprayed the baby after her daughter doused the infant's aunt.
However, the woman said it was her 16-year-old daughter who used the spray, and that she did so in self-defense.
The woman said her daughter sprayed the woman when the baby's aunt grabbed her. She said the infant's grandmother then "ran through the fog with the baby."
However, the baby's mother told a local TV station the woman "was yelling, 'Get the baby! Get the baby!"'
