:ha: :haha: :ha: :haha: :ha: :haha: :ha: :haha: :ha: :haha: :ha: :haha:

I see the Bronx Bombers are on their way to the worst record in the AL East! :D

I think it's obvious where my loyalties lie, and I'm getting a good laugh out of this for sure, but I have to ask all you Yanks fans, what is going on with your team???? I suspect George isn't going to stand for this much longer before some serious changes are made...

Well, being a Yankee fan for well over 20 years I can admit that I'm not thrilled with their performance. I think the fact that they're still stewing over a terrible team winning the series last year might have something to do with it.

I know that this is a good old round of chop busting in good fun, but seriously, we're sucking the big root this year. I think that if Boston was in this slump I'd be picking on you and you'd be defending them as well, but this is just terrible...lol.

I would like to point out two things, however. The MLB Rulebook clearly states:

1.02: The objective of each team is to win by scoring more runs than the opponent.

1.03: The winner of the game shall be that team which shall have scored, in accordance with these rules, the greater number of runs at the conclusion of a regulaiton game.

Maybe their wires are crossed???

Well, they made a turnaround and are back in the slump again! :haha: (Sorry, wouldn't be a proper Sox fan without laughing!) ;)

Honestly I can't believe they got swept by KC - they have the worst record in MLB!

My beloved Sox seem to have a thing for walk-off homeruns lately...

Well, it's only June... long way to go... but ya think with the NYY's payroll they'd be faring better... but I'm glad they're not! :D

Then don't look at my Royals. I ahve never seen a team fight so hard for last place in my life. They fight their butts off to set loosing records. What gets my fruit cake is they still surprise me at how bad things can get. Just when I think They've out done themselves they go and top it.
We currently are in a 4 game win streek. This hasn't been done sinse sept. 2003. We had most losses in team history two years back to back. Couple that with big money ego's and steroid useage, strike threats, I wonder why I can't get into it.
Just announced on the radio, We are 17 - 37

It is hard for me to have sympathy for Yankee fans, even though these are tough times. George has fielded the best team money can buy consistently and they have won pretty consistently. Make that real consistently.

I think the strategy of going into a depression because "your" team doesn't win every year is probably not going to pay off...well, if I did it, I probably have to hide in my house most years! :) The A's are bad, the Giants are bad...not to mention the 49ers and the Raiders. But, the sun will come up tomorrow...I think. The Giants just broke their losing streak...they were rained out yesterday in New York.

I have been a yankees fan for many years and yes they are struggling (to put it mildly) this year. George has bought a great team, i just don't know what is wrong with them this year.....
