Hey Stacy! I've been pretty busy myself - recently moved, am in the middle of finals right now, and just working as usual. But everything in my life seems to be going pretty well - I really can't complain about anything, except the obvious of course - being away from my fiance - but other than that everything's good.

Hello! I haven't really been around either. I have a (possible) ruptured disk that is pinching my sciatic nerve (6 weeks now). Needless to say, I have been in alot of pain and lots of Dr's appts. I finished my finals this week (thank goodness). Now I'm coming down with a cold (yuck) and waiting for my MRI test and Nerve conduction test to be done so the Dr's can come up with a game plan on how to fix my back.

But hey, other than that things are going fine (LOL)

I have been busy. My son is playing baseball. If it isn't a game night, we are having practice. Plus, I have been working. So, it seems like I don't have any time for much of anything anymore. On a good note, our team is 3-0!!!

CrisnClay...He is now working for the Lt. that is over regional maintenance,,,SO he is VERY happy now,,,and NO MORE TROUBLE~~~YAY!!!! BUT he is doing alot better,,,well as good as can be expected!!!

Juliwaits....I love my job,,,,they put me on permanantly...AND has mentioned a raise!!! YAY!!!! Congrats on the pups...what kind????

Well I am glad that y'all are doing okay,,,me myself I am doing good....STILL trying to getting money saved to move,,,UGH,,,,thats a headache,,,,BUt all in all I am doing okay!!! My oldest daughter is turning 13 next Saturday( the 14th) ,,,OMGosh!!! Have a big "dance" party planned!!! HELP!!! Eighteen 13-16 yr olds,boys and girls,hmmmmmmmm,,OMGosh,,,am I nuts or what,,,,

Stacy - we had a big boy/girl bash when my sons (twins) turned 13. It was actually GREAT. The pups are labs and adorable, i'll post pics tomorrow.

Matthew's Angel - So sorry you've been in pain. Are you missing visits as a result?

I'm sure this will be great too,,,just a lil apprehensive about having all these youngters at MY house!!! Heck you know how kids are now days,,,I am sure I will them making out everywhere......OMGosh,,,what am I doing!!! LOL~~~

Juliwaits - Yes, I've missed visits because it has just been too painful. My last visit was on 1 Apr. That was in the begining of my injury and I thought I could tough it out. I did, but I regretted it later (with the pain). Hopefully if everything works out, I'll get to see Matthew next weekend. This is the longest we've went without seeing each other and it's killing me worse than the pain in my back right now.

I can't wait to see the pictures of your puppies. I have a lab/chow mix.

Hey Peaches....sorry have been gone YET again....But thats about to change,,,seeing that my hours have got cut AGIAN,,,the 1st time was last Fri. then again Monday!!! SOOOOOOOOOOO now I am down to 29 hours.....MAN this SUCKS,,,,,
So to answer your question about me moving to Ar. ,,,,WELLLLLLLLL,,,NOT looking too good!!!(sniffle sniffle) BUT I have to be moved by Aug.19, someway , thats when school starts!!!!

No,,,no money yet. He has a lil less than 22 months,,,he has to have 17 or less to get a paying job, unless they change that,,,and they are supposed to vote on that. The word is that they will change it to 20, 22, OR 24 months or less......HOPEFULLY they will so he can get a world job. He isn't working regional anymore tho,,,he is now the Lt. clerk over regional maint.,,,,,But WHEN he does get a paying job, he will send home money,,,so yeah that will help out!!!
OH....his mother talked to him Sunday night,,,well she told him that she wants me and our girls to come live with her,,,BUT not too sure about that. Thats ALOT to think about!!!! BUT if it comes down to it,,,I will have a place IF I need it.

What do you mean he has to be 17 months or less??? ALL of the stuff in the prison handbooks says that once they are 30 months short they can go to work release. Once there they have to do 30 days regional and then they get a real job. Thats crazy that he cant actually work until he is 17 months or less. What about the furloughs? If my husband cant work or come home on a furlough until hes 17 months I would rather him stay where he is. That must be some wacked out Benton rule cause I know for a fact the guys in Pine Bluff go to work after 30 days. Can you find out more for me BEFORE my husband reapplies to Benton. I dont want to go through those crazy visits if its not going to be worth it

Stacy, have you considered asking for a transfer to a Dollar General in Arkansas? Even though you've not worked there very long they still may allow you to transfer to a store in Arkansas. Worth a shot anyway.
Sorry about your hours getting cut. I know that SUCKS big time. Hang in there.
Are you going to start school or do you mean that's when the kids start school. Sorry for being such a dummy sometimes, LOL.
Things will get better. Just hang in there and keep the faith. I tell my fiancee that all the time. He's probably sick of hearing it but I mean it just as much the last time I said it as I did the million times before.

CrisnClay,,,thats what he thought too,,,,,BUT right before he got transferred he found out that you can go to Work Release at 30 months BUT you can't get a paying job till you are at 17.....BUT I got a letter today and Matthew said that all the TPV's left this week and that was what they were waiting on before they vote to change the dates,,,,he also got word that everyone was in agreement but one,,,,untill that ONE desides with them,,,it will remain 17 months or less,......We are praying they change it SOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!! I will let you know as soon as I find out something!!!!!

What about his furloughs? My husband wanted me to ask you if Matthew was a 1A

Dang I feel like an idiot,,,but I honestly don't know!!! He was getting furloughs in Hempstead county,,,,and his furloughs will start 90 days after he starts his paying job. He will get five 24 hours furloughs every 5 weeks,,,then it goes to like 30+ hours(5 of those), then I think 48 hours( 5) he is suppossed to let me know more about the furloughs....I am really new to all this...we have only been together 7 months and married 3,,,,I just know the things I NEED to know really. LOL ....
I know this may not be much help,,,but I will find out what I can for you. If there is anything else I can help with ,,,let me know and I will find out from him,,,,I write him everyday,,it takes 2 days to get there and then 2 days for it to get back to me,,,BUT they don't do mail on Saturdays BUT I will do what I can to get the info for you.....

Stacy, why do they keep cutting your hours?

I lived with my mother in law when i first moved to Arkansas (moved here from TX so i could visit hubby every week). It was ok. I lived there 3 months. It was ok as a stepping stone to get me to Arkansas. I don't know what I'd have done without that!
