I need a real get-away!!! QUICK!!! I want to go to NY like the 2nd weekend in June but have no clue where to stay. I want to stay right in the city near shopping and food and fun!!!

Can anybody offer some help!!! I used to go visit all the time but stayed with my sister in Brooklyn.

I went on expedia but all those hotels mean nothing I'm almost clueless location wise....LOL

Coming from a Brooklynite, we now (for at least three years) have a Brooklyn Marriott, near all mass transit, yet cheaper than staying in the city. If you still want to stay in the heart of the city, I hear the two Marriott's are nice, and so is the Hilton and Sheraton. Wherever you stay, I hope you have a safe and enjoyable visit.
