How much time is permitted between being found guilty and the sentencing hearing? My son's trial was in Pennsylvania. He was found guilty but the judge delayed sentencing several times before passing sentence. Actually it was delayed a total of 135 days . The delays were not for things pertaining to his case.

They can delay it for as long as they want, or need to. I know people that have waited more than 6 months to be sentenced.
