What is a Worry Doll?A worry doll is a small doll that you place under your pillow to make your worries go away.
What you will need: an old fashioned clothes pin, colorful string (not yarn), scissors and glue.

1.)To make the hair, choose a color (blond, brown, black, red)and cut about 15-25 equal strands(depending on how big your clothes pin is). Tie an overhand knot in the center of the string. Glue the knot onto the head of your doll.
2.)To make the shirt choose any color and put a dab of glue on the end and stick it to the top of where you want your shirt to start. Then wrap the string around tightly until you think it is long enough. Then glue the end down.
3.)To make your worry doll have pants or shorts, first you should glue the end dowm. Once you have done this you need to weave the string through the "legs" and when you finish that glue the end down.


OR

If you want your worry doll to have a skirt just glue the end down and wrap the thread around the "legs" like you did the shirt. Then glue it down.
4.)Draw a face on your worry doll.
5.)Put it under your pillow for sweet dreams!

If you use google just type worry dolls and you will see how many patterns and info is ther on worry dolls..Probably any search engine would show them..I had to search it to see what they were..lol Susan
