My husband will be released from CMC east, and I don't have a clue about the actual events of that day! His release date is on a Sat. do I have to wait till Mon??? Where do I pick him up at? Do I have to sign in? What time do they released? Any info would be so very helpful! Thanks!!:confused: :eek: :confused: :eek:

Hi Summer, I am a visitor of CMC so here is all the info. If his release date is scheduled for a Saturday then he will be released on Saturday. If someone is coming to pick him up then they usually release them between 7am-9am. You would have to pick him up from CMC at the visitors gatehouse.

To get to CMC you take 101 South. Take the Santa Rosa/Hwy1 exit. On Santa Rosa you will make a left and take Hwy 1 all the way up about 2-3 miles. You will pass Cal Poly University on your right hand side and once you go down the hill you will see CMC on your right hand side. Drive into the prison and continue straight to the East Facility Visitor's Gatehouse.

I would call the prison just to make sure you let them know that he will be getting picked up and for any other questions you may have. Their number is 805-547-7900. Good luck and congrats! :thumbsup:
