Some quick questions on quarterly packages and Wasco.
Can inmates receive these packages while in reception?
Is there a danger that they won't get their package if, by some miracle, they are processed quickly and relocated before it arrives?
How long does it take for the packages to get there once ordered?
I was planning on ordering through www.californiaqp.com (http://www.californiaqp.com). Any bad experiences with them?
Thanks in advance.

Hi dojhar
First off welcome to PTO, I'm glad you found us in this time of need and support and I'm sorry to hear what happend to your Dad.
Reception Center Inmates cannot recieve quarterly packages, he will not be allowed one until he gets mainlined and is fully classified.
There's a section here on PTO that could help you greatly.
Here's a link for you.

i use packagesrus.com to send to my son. they have only what you can buy for that prison. plus they send it when they know they can recieve packages. my son gets his a few days after i buy it. i used it online and it keeps track of your weight and how much you have spent. your dad will have a copy of what they have so he can help you shop for him. good luck.

Thanks. I had found that, but wanted to double-check what it said. The guide says that reception inmates cannot receive books, but at Wasco they can, so I thought it was worth asking.

If you send him a package b4 he is classified it will be sent back to the company. Once you know he is able to get the box then go ahead and send it. If you have any question please ask me. I am customer service at Package R Us. I am not advertising just answering any questions.
