Well after speaking with three different county offices all three have quite assured me I am not insane. I have neither been detained for, arrested or convicted of any crime!!! Yeah!! I have sent them the fee by mail to get 2 hard copies of the proof.
Feeling confident now- that there was certainly no error with my record I contacted Talawanda. Of course they "did not make an error'- and I was finally reluctently told that they would think about re-running my name- maybe in a few days. I advised them I had legal proof en-route, and was advised that they "didnt care". Needless to say I'm not holding my breath that the unit manager will contact me back today or tomorrow as promised. I imagine I will have to wait for the proof and take it to the warden as they are incapable of making any sort of mistake.
Which leads me to think- I mean, if I'm filling out an employment application and am listing 'omnipotent' as one of my job skills. Wouldnt you think I'd be high enough in demand to get a higher paying job? :D And to think everyone that works for the Doc is perfect!! I had no idea we as taxpayers were getting such a bargin for our investment!!!! LOL
I as well was informed that my phone is not blocked- of course my fiances father visited him yesterday- and he said it was. And that I should "realize he probably just doesnt want to talk to me or see me".
Do these people have no boundries or even a shread of human kindness?
Thank you to everyone who has worked to keep me calm to this point. I can however tell you that although I am smart enough to wait until my fiance is home and free and clear; as we are so close to his release...This is not the end. Even the Police officer I spoke with suggested I file some sort of class action suit- now that should tell us something!! For now however I will hold my tongue -- but I can assure you sometime in the future when you look up 'Machiavellian' in Websters- you will see my picture!!
