Does anyone know what needs to be done in order to get married to an inmate? What are the procedures that need to be taken and who needs to be notified, etc etc? Thanks in advance for any info.

You need to contact the register of deeds in your county....thats what I did...

First you have to get permission from the chaplin/warden and fill out a questionnaire and maybe? counseling sessions with the chaplin (depends) on how long and drawn out the DOC wants to make it. Then you pay for the inmate to be transported to the local county courthouse to sign and get the marriage license and then the DOC schedules the ceremony.
