My friend just got to Chino ... or back to Chino, which ever. Anyways, I called the locator and they said he was at Chino, RCC ... and gave me a P.O. Box. I wrote it, it came back "cannot locate". When I called Chino, again the number provided by the locator, the operator said, "which facility." Uhhh, I don't know. I tried calling and calling and calling, I can't get a hold of anyone. I did make contact with the central Chino, whatever that means, and he wasn't there. So, I am hoping that I can get some help here in getting in touch with the right place to get his mailing info. He was sentenced back at the beginning of 2003, 30+, he's been to a sent to Wasco (reception) already, and then he went for a "tour of CDC" and we lost him. I figured he was at Palm Hall or whatever that place is over there. But, I am lost and I would like to get back in touch with this friend.

Thanks!

That is the number that I called. When I asked for records they asked "which facility?" I said I didn't know and they said I needed to know. Maybe I will try again and see if anything changes ... maybe someone else is working.
Thanks.

Heres the infomation to locate an inmate - I gave them a first and last name only and they told me where he was and gave me his booking number

To locate an inmate within the California Department of Corrections, please call (916) 445-6713, which is available 24 hours a day. You must have either the inmate's CDC number, or the inmate's full name and date of birth to receive information. The Inmate Locator/ID Warrants will provide an inmate's location, mailing addresses and relevant phone numbers. The Inmate Locator/ID Warrants will not provide any future release date information. Please note that for new or transferring inmates it can take up to seven business days to update location information.
