Do TDC prisons have a mix of different catagory inmates, or do they put all of one catagory in specific places?
If they take a mix, are they separated inside each unit?
If not, which units do Aggravated offenders go to? (that sounds wrong, but you know what I mean  )

They are mixed and go to different units. The only category that all go to one unit are Death Row Inmates (male) and they go to Polunsky Unit in Livingston until their date and then they are taken to Walls Unit in Huntsville for Texecution. I know that women on DR are taken to Gatesville but I don't know what unit.
My husband is at Eastham and has an Aggravated offense but he is in general population, not segrevated, but he is considered 3g so he cannot be a trustee or work outside the fence. Anyone with an aggravated charge cannot go above 3g -- that means they cannot be an outside trustee or work outside the fence without direct armed supervision. Do you need to know something in particular? Has he made chain yet? Does he know where he is going?
And are you feeling any better today? I know you don't pray but that doesn't mean I can't pray for your health and well-being!

thanks Val, no he hasnt signed anything yet ..... I'm told everything comes to those who wait  I was just curious to how it worked over there. Here the prisons are run on catagories, so (usually) all the inmates in a particular prison are of the same or similar catagory.
If you can fit me into your prayers, thats OK with me, but no I'm not feeling much better today. Dont worry, it will pass, all things do.
