I just got off the phone with the records office at Garza East, and Skip and I were approved for a 4 hour special visit WITH CONTACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My flight leaves at 7pm tonite, Becky, I'll call you when I hit the ground!!

This will be the first time we have touched since last November before he went in. I am so nervous, and excited, and scared, and mushy, and oh, nevermind...I could go on all day! LOL

Anyone else gonna be in Beeville this weekend??

Hey guys, I"M HOME!!!!!

Becky, you are a doll...thank you so much for your home, your hospitality, your love....I had a great time visiting with you, and trading "war" stories. You are truly a WONDERFUL friend, and I'm so glad we got to spend time together!

Our visit was AWESOME!!!!!!!...it was so good to hold him, love him and touch him. I know it meant more to him than it did me, as he has had no physical contact (less a strip search here or there LOL) since he went in in November. You could feel him clinging to me in our initial hug. It felt so wonderful!!

We got 4.5 hours (we caught count at the end of our visit again!!!)....we talked, and we even got a polaroid taken...it was great, cuz I had heard the photographers weren't at the units much anymore. I will scan and upload the pic ASAP! He was smiling ear to ear during the whole visit, and we were so glad to see each other. It was so incredible to hold his hand while we talked. He felt great, and it was very hard to leave.

He ate tons of junk food, but he looks SOO good....he appears to have gained weight, and he mentioned the toilet paper limitations, among other things (soap, cleaning supplies). ALL IN ALL, he looked and sounded wonderful.

He told me the actual SATP thing they did on his unit was only 2 weeks (like pre-SATP), and in apparent preparation to move the guys in the class to a unit for the actual courses. (they don't have the courses at the GARZA EAST unit). We think he will probably be moved pretty soon. I was also told after this class, that he will probably be released. The woman at the IPO office in Beeville indicated they are PACKED, and it's unclear what they will be doing with releases classes. She wouldn't commit to anything, but told me it's probably safe to say it's a good thing he's in the class.

I was so glad to see him, and we are holding off on planning another visit until we see if he's going to be moved.

I hope everyone who had visits this weekend enjoyed them as much as I did. Keep the faith, continue the love, and remember, WE ARE THEIR REAL HOPE!!!
