This is not actual - but i think it should be here:
My friend
CLAUDE "BJ" JONES
Tomorrow my friend BJ is set to be executed by this shit sorry state. These past few weeks have been pretty rough on me and Rick, another of BJ´s close friends. We have talked and walked down memory lane laughed about the good times we all have shared together. But late at night all alone in my cell the memories fade and the present sets in.
My friend is gonna die in a few days and there isn´t a damn thing I can do to save him.
Friendship in places like this are taken seriously. Because to call a man your friend means you would give your life for his, you would give your last to him, you smile when he pisses your off and you do all you can to bring him up when he is down. There is no sacrifice to great for a true friend.
So you understand when I call BJ my friend you see of begin to understand how I am feeling right now.
I saw BJ tonight for the first and last time in two months, he has lost about 60lbs ans as we sat and talked our last tlak fighting back the tears it was just like him to crack a joke and make me and the six guards watching us burst out laughing.
We spoke about his last wishes, he is to be cremated 1/2 his ashes will be put on his mommas grave and the other 1/2 will be thrown to the wind at his favorite fishing hole.
As I am writing this I am crying the first tears of true sadness in my life. I have never been so sad as this last night of my friends life.
His last words to me as I stood up to leave were "Get on outta here, I love ya dawg".
This time tomorrow (save a miricle) my friend will be dead. I am a human being and the pain I suffer is just as real as anyone elses. I have not lost the ability to care, I am not a moster without feeing. I feel the pain and my heart is heavy with loss.
I´m gonna miss you old dawg !!

My friend is dead. His blood is on the hands of every Texan who did not speak out. Every Texan who sat at home watching the news of his execution without a profound feeling of disgust. Every Texan who stands behind this madness.
