This was just recieved by me and I hope its true so I thought I would send it on to all the death row people. You can now send a two line message to your loved one on death row by sending an email to email address removed due to PTO policies, Please PM member and they will read it to them over the radio just thought you might like to do this. You might want to write to them and tell them when you are going to send it so they will be listening.

I read this as well, I believe it is a radio station that will read messages out to loved ones with people that are on Polunsky Death row.

I heard that there was a station that had a prison show (I believe it is 90.1 FM) every friday night and you could call in and speak to them over the radio. But I heard the guys don't really get that station very often because of reception issues so there was another station (96. something) that was thinking of doing it. Has anyone heard of this?

Yes JoJo that is the Ray Hill show, you can listen to it on Friday nights. Here is a link at PTO that tells all about it. You also can listen to it on the internet.

Depending what Pod at Polunsky they are on, the guys have a hard time getting it. But I call in the first Friday of every month, because they have an extra hour of call ins, and I can get through. The other times it is busy busy busy.
I have a friend on A pod and he listens because he knows I am calling and he says it is kinda static, but he hears it fine. I also know we have some other members that call in to the show.
I know there are some units in Texas that can't get it.

Mart I don't know about AZ, this radio station only gets Texas. You could ask you loved one what radio station he listens to and maybe dedicate a song to him.
