Just wanted to let everyone know that not all Canadians need a Visa to get across the border. Just some Canadian immigrants.
I sure don't want to be misunderstood. I am not very comfortable posting here anymore. Anyway I'm getting off the forum topic. I better stop now.

OOH, Lifehouse.

Let me guess. You're getting the same hatemail I am getting?????

If so, I understand!

~~~~~~~~~~
Regarding who needs a PASSPORT and VISA to get into the U.S. from Canada now?
All Canadian LANDED IMMIGRANTS from Commonwealth Countries, and 59 countries are listed.
The requirement can be waived for LANDED IMMIGRANTS from UK, Ireland, Australia, Singapore and Brunei, if the visits to the US are for less than 90 days.
These visas must be applied for IN PERSON at a US consulate or embassy, and the wait is for anywhere from 2 weeks to 60 days. CONSULAR STAFF MIGHT TRAVEL to the applicants home country to verify information provided!!!
You must register via the Website first, or phone the embassy and pay $2 a minute to book an appointment. Then fill out an application, collect your photos and documents, pay $100, and appear for screening at the appointed time.
If you are older than 60, younger than 17, or a diplomat, you are exempt.
~~~~~~~~~

SHEESH, and I thought things were getting bad, when on March 2, at LA airport, they made me take most of my clothes off and undo my pants in front of 300 people, because I had a piece of JUICY FRUIT GUM in my pocket!!!!

All My love,
Menolly

Good question, Lulu? WHO IS sending it? It's certainly someone who knows about Ken, and it's to my email account that I only use for PTO stuff.

But, without a name, and without enough evidence, I am stymied, and can prove nothing! Therefore I can say nothing, and make no accusations, nor DEFEND myself!

Judging from the content, it is safe to presume it is because I have often declared myself as a pacifist here, and since Canada has just declared themselves with France and Co. as NOT going to war with you guys, well, you know what that makes me, right? And you know what that makes Ken's and my relationship etc...

For the record, this sort of thing happened last fall also, and Fed-X and I tried to track stuff down, with no success. So, I guess I just have to shut up and take it. Or shut down the email and leave the site.

I guess I've p***ed off one too many people here. And I KNOW I've done that many times, with my stupid vaccuousness, AND my big fat mouth!

Interesting..

I didn't think Americans really cared what us Canadians thought (in terms of war).. at least none of the ones I know... and the reason for this is because, for example, CANADA as a country may have decided to go with france etc.. but just because a country decides to go this route does not reflect what each individual citizen thinks.. and therefore to say "you canadians.." or "you americans.." this or that is complete bull crap.. because it is the government deciding these issues.. I hate when people look at me as a Canadian and think that i believe in every course of action my country takes.. cause I am an individual and i have my OWN values, ideas and thoughts.. and they may not be in accordance to the ones my country believes in..

Sorry you had such a rude experience at LAX, i have flown in and out of there for years, the last time being November 10, 2003 and NEVER had any lines or problems with anything.. they were quick and friendly to me..

I am sorry to hear what you have been going through. Its pure ignorance for those to penalize you for your perceptions and opinion. My opinion, the US government and Canada are going to do what they want to do, when they want to do, and do not necessarily reflect a majority of its citizens concerning any topic.

I travel to Canada at least 5 times a year, and I drive no matter how far the destination. It is a beautiful country and I love it. When I goto Newfoundland, of course my car has to be put on a ferry, but that experience alone is great. There are so many beautiful places in Canada, as I am sure you can attest to. I find it easier to get into Canada, but coming back into the US/Canadian border, I have difficult time every single time, and I am a USA citizen!

I am lending my support to you, and only a PM away if you need anything. As for documentation, you can come into USA with just a driver's license if you are not staying longer than 2 weeks. I have not had any problems doing so with some of my friends.

I hope you have a better day.

As always PTO, much love.
