Does anyone know where the cheapest hotels/motels around Delano are?
I am waiting to be approved to visit my husband while he is in reception at Delano....I was thinking to take amtrak-car rental-hotel...any ideas on my cheapest way to visit from riverside county...have a car but am disabled and have limited visibility to drive that far...

I stayed at the Motel 6 because it had access outside doors and I took my dogs. It was $34 or $39 a night with AAA and is the next exit off the 99 after the exit for NKSP. There is also a Comfort Inn near the prison. Good Luck! It was WELL WORTH the visit! :D
