I found out this weekend that visitaiton at Elmore is changing starting April 30th. Right now you have one half of the alphabet one Sun and the rest the next Sun. Starting Apr. 30th It will be split up where part of the alphabet will be Sat and Sun (1st half) and the next weekend Sat and Sun (2nd half), so it like instead of 2 they are spliting it up in 4 but i still get to see him every other weekend and they alternate saturdays and sundays.

I hope they don't change things before April 17!!! I would hate to get nasty with someone after driving from Nashville to see my honey!!!!!

LOL...actually the change goes into effect April 30th...The sarg. passed out new schedules and visitation rules Sun...The rules are the same they are just being stricter on them...The visitation is as follows:

May 7 A-F

What are the rules at Elmore anyway? I heard you can go outside. Can you hold hands?

yes you can hold hands...At visitation you can go outside and sit at the tables or you can sit inside.

I just read the new visitation guidelines for Elmore Corr. where my honey is. Boy that's the pitts. I promised to babysit on the day that I need to see Billy. I haven't told them that I visit Billy so I'm trying to figure out a good excuse to get out of it??

Guess I'll come up with something. I have never missed a visiting day since he's been at Elmore and don't intend to now. Visits are too precious to me to miss.

We usually sit outside when I visit Billy and we get to hold hands the whole time.

I wonder why the changes? Seems they are making visits more complicated for everyone. Maybe this will work out better....I didnt see anything wrong with the old system. I guess we should be thankful that we get to visit at all.

Yes, we will still get to visit every other weekend it will be Sunday one one visit and Saturday on the next. I know the visitation will be smaller. Hopefully it will work..

Visitation at Elmore is changing yet again. I wish they would just leave it one way for awhile. Anyone with loved ones there need to call and see when you can visit. The phone is 334-567-1460.

Supposedly they are giving out new lists showing visiting dates for A-L, M-R, and S-Z.

Next visiting date for M-R is Sat. June 11th.

What is family night??? I've never heard of that. I picked up a new schedule today, Sat. June 11th. Appears visitation days will be about the same as what they were pretty much. Wish they would quit screwing with visitation days.

Saw my honey today and he was doing well. He got a buzzcut again. He had just gotten enough hair grown out again to comb and now its gone again!!

When Billy first got to Elmore he was in recycling center and now he is in welding classes after finishing his S.A.P. program.

HEY....They usually have family night every 6 months...Family night is open to everyone in the prison...but the inmate has to fill out a form to let the prison know how many and who all is coming...they have to be on the visitation list and it is June the 25th (sat) from 3pm to 7pm. You get to bring food and drinks. Bring it in containers that are disposable because you won't get them back, get there kinda early because they don't give out numbers they go by what your place in line is...Yeah...Raymond gets his hair cut once a week (buzz cut) He works every visitation...I will get to see him next sat...Raymond is currently taking some kind of business class...If you have anymore questions about family night let me know...
