:rolleyes: MY HUSBAND CALLED ME TODAY (THIS MORNING).HE HAS HAD THE FLU AND SO HAS ALOT OF THE OTHER GUYS ON HIS TIER.HE PUT IN FOR SICK CALL 5 DAYS AGO. AS SOON AS HE PUT IN FOR SICK CALL THEY LOCKED THE PRISON DOWN FOR A SHAKEDOWN B/C SOMEONE GOT BUSTED WITH ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES.SO HE DIDNT GET CALLED FOR SICK CALL TIL LAST NIGHT.HE REFUSED TO GO B/C HE IS GETTING BETTER AND HE SAID THERE WAS NO SINCE IN PAYING TO SEE THE DOC NO MATTER HOW SMALL OF AMOUNT IT IS-B/C HE HAS GOTTEN OVER THE HARDEST PART AND IS DOING BETTER NOW.HE SAID THEY TOLD HIM THEY WERE GOING TO PUT HIM IN THE HOLE FOR 45 DAYS B/C OF REFUSING TO SEE THE DOC AFTER HE HAD SIGNED UP FOR SICK CALL.DOES THIS MAKE SINCE?????? WOULDNT THEY HAVE PUT HIM IN THE HOLE RIGHT AWAY INSTEAD OF WAITING A COUPLE OF DAYS.HE HAS BEEN IN HOLMAN CF SINCE 1994 AND SURELY HE WOULDNT DO ANYTHING TO HAVE TO GO TO THE HOLE.HE HAS NEVER BEEN IN ANY TROUBLE SINCE THE DAY HE GOT THERE. DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT?DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THAT JUST B/C YOUVE GOTTEN BETTER AND DONT WANT TO GO.I'M CONFUSED.WHAT ARE THE CIRCUMSTANCES IF HE GETS PUT IN THE HOLE?? IS THAT ANY DIFFERENT FROM BEING IN YOUR CELL 23 HOURS OUT OF A DAY?HE WAS SUPPOSE TO CALL ME RIGHT BACK AND HE DIDNT .HERE IT IS 12OO AM AND I DIDNT HEAR FROM HIM ANYMORE.I DONT KNOW IF THEY CAME AND GOT HIM.I CALLED THE PHONE COMPANY TO SEE IF THERE WAS A BLOCK ON THE PHONE BY CHANCE AND THEY SAID NO THE LINE IS CLEAR.I HOPE SOMEONE MIGHT SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS SUBJECT. Im so sorry, that seems strange. I dont understand how they can put him in the hole for feeling better, since they left him five days to begin with. I think while they are in the hole, they have restricted privelidges, like recreation etc. I am not so sure about Holman, I hope someone can come along and tell you more. I really hope that you hear from him again soon. (((((hugs))))) Please let us know how it all goes.

Thank You Kyla And Monica You Are All So Very Sweet. Well Today As Of 5 Pm I Still Have Not Heard From Him Which Is Not A Good Sign. Im Just Trying To Stay Positive And Hope He Did Not Go To The Hole B/c It Wasnt Official That He Was Going He Just Told Me One Of The Guards Had Told Him Its A Possibility.god I Hope Not. Those People Have No Heart What So Ever.but I Am Thankful For The Few Guards There That Are Nice To Him And I.when I Go For A Visit They Always Kid Around With Us And Conversate With Us.they Always Come To The Gate And Get Me And Ask How My Trip Was, Or They Will Say "we Should Have Known You Were Coming The Way Clemons Was Up There Pacing His Cell"(smile)but Alot Of The Other Guards There Just Look At Us Crazy.i Dont Know Why, Unless They Are Just Mad That They Cant Find That Kind Of Love Out In The Free World.but Anyways, Im Just Praying To God That He Is Ok And There Is Some Reasonable Excuse For Why I Havent Heard From Him .but I Hope Someone That Knows About This Type Of Situation Will Write Back And Let Me Know If He Is In The Hole Can We Still Have A Visit? I have heard of inmates being penalized for not taking sick call when they finally get called. It doesn't sound like it's right in his situation because they waited so long to get him in the first place but I know they penalize folks so they don't abuse the "privilege" of receiving third world medical care, no seriously, they don't want people using that as an excuse to not go to work and then not go to sick call so they end up laying around doing nothing. At least that's how it is where Vin is. They are not allowed to do "nothing" or lay around in bed once they're awake for count.

Can you call the prison and try and find out. Perhaps ask to speak to a chaplain to check on him. Sometimes the warden will answer you (not normally, sometimes). Or perhaps you can call, and say, I am organising a visit, and checking on his status, if his still allowed to have visits, and see if they can tell you his classification. This must be an awful worry for you, Im so sorry you are going through this (((hugs)))

I'm with Kyla, call the prison and be sweet as pie! I know that in Ohio if you are in the hole on DR, you can have a 1 hour visit on tuesdays. Also, does he have a case worker? My husbands case worker is pretty easy to get along with. Remember, the phones there might be down also. I know that if the guys here are taking a med and refuse it, then they can't have it again, and they have to wait 90 days to see the DR for the same ailment. I know all about that feeling of not getting that call. It's awful! Hang in there! Keep calling until you get an answer from someone!

I feel you should call the prison as well. I know the prison system is diffrent in each state however by no means is this a right to put someone in the hole. I feel when you call you need to speak with a captain, someone with authority. Explain to them the matter and request some thing to be done........Continue to call, obviously you don't want to cause problems for him, but let them know there is someone on the outside keeping tabs..

It's 11:53pm Monday Night And Guess What???????i Just Got Off The Phone With My Honey From 4 Calls....yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He Said The Phone Said That He Had Exceeded His Call Limit For The Week After One Call.he Said They Just Put New Phones In On His Tier And They Were Not Working Properly..when I Told Him How Upset I Was Thinking They Had Already Came And Got Him To Put Him In The Hole He Said "awww Baby You Know I Would Have Got Someone To Call And Let You Know" .. He Said That It Is Still A Possibility That He Might Have To Go Because They Have Not Finished The Paperwork... He Said You Know How Slow They Are With Paper Work Here.but He Also Said That The Nurse Told Him That She Is Not Filling The Paper Work Out Because She Feels It Wasnt Handled Properly Either.she Said She Will Leave That Paper Work Up To The Warden And The Doctor. So I've Got My Fingers Crossed In Hopes That Everyone Forgets About This And Just Lets It Go.he Said He Made Sure That He Let Them Know He Was Gonna Call His Lawyers And Tell Them How Shadey These People Were About Getting The Proper Medical Attention That He Is Entitled To.so Maybe That Will Make Them Drop The Whole Thing.lets Hope..well God Is Good Because I Thought I Wouldnt Get To Talk To Him Today B/c If He Is Gonna Call He Always Calls By 8:30 Am. Then I Came Home And Picked My Kids Up And We Went Out For A Family Night Out.the Kids Had A Good Time And It Helped Me To Stop Thinking About The Fact ..then I Got Home And Was On The Phone With My Homegirl And The Phone Beeped I Looked At The Caller Id It Said "atmore Alabama" I Screamed With Excitement In Hopes For Good News On The Other End...sure Enough My Baby Said The Phone Had Just Went Thru For The First Time Since Saturday ....thank You Jesus Is All I Can Say.. And Thanks To You All Who Helped Me Thru This .i Was So Depressed.im Going To See Him Friday From 7:30 To 1:30 Pm. That is great news, I am so glad that you got your call, to put your mind at ease. Everything crossed that they wont write him up.

Sorry to hear your man is having to go through all of this,you as well.The admin. usually does what they want.Most of it doesn,t make sence to people out here.It,s a differant world with differant rules.The hole was pretty bad when I did time.It was ment to break you down and kill your spirit.ven worse,they used to force meds like thorazine on inmates in the hole to further break them down.These days I hear the hole is mostly just 24 hour lock down and not much else.I hear they feed you regular food in the hole now instead of frozen vegies.I also hear that you can have cloths on while in the hol and that there is lights in the cell.At any rate,I,m sorry to hear about this.I spent alot of time in the hole and it was pretty bad.I,ll pray for him and you as well.

@Regina, I am really sorry to hear what you and geno are going thru, I am glad to hear that he's recovered from his flu:) . I will remember to uplift him in prayer for a fair decision from the powers that be. Keep on keeping on and God bless you, take care.....remember God is in control:D
