my beloved has been there for 8+ yrs(almost a decade) & i have to say that throughout the state, this facility is notoriously one of the worse prisons. always on lockdown!!!
the prison is going on a full search of the premises, since contraband was found (snittched off) in a inmates cell back in jan. there is a 90 day investigation going on & dragging everyone through the dirt. prisoners in this facility have very little rights and day in & out they are treated inhumanly!!!
i can't wait till they finish up this inves.....i will be headed up there the very first week!!!

Your right my man has been there since 1997 and he got tired of it, he requested a transfered last year so in June of 2005 he will be transfered to Centinela. He said he dont realy matter where as long as it aint Susanville. He shose Centinela cause its closer to me but I dont realy know how is that prison, hope its better.

Susanville is the worst, I went to Konocti camp to visit my fiance, and I forgot stamps were in my pocket so I threw them away because I didn't want to be accused of bringing in contraband, well they found them, and now my visits are suspended for 6 monts. It was purely an accident, but they make me feel like a criminal, they even rolled my fiance up over it. We were suppose to get married on March 19th, and who knows now when that will happen.
