Can anyone tell me once the parole board meets and then the vote is in (a week later), how long until the inmate finds out? My fiancee says that he will know the next day after it is voted on. But i'm not sure and wondered if anyone could give me information on that.

He'll find out on a monday night, you'll be able to call for the results on a tuesday. When my husband's results were in, we had to wait 2 additional weeks because of a "computer glitch" Hang in there!

Thanks Julie. Do you know how long it takes for them to be released once they are approved to go home? I'm hoping and praying that he will get to come home but time will tell. And you are sure it's always a Monday night they get their results? I know he will call as soon as he gets the results so I won't have to worry about calling to find out.

Yes, always a monday night. I don't know about how long it takes to get released though. If he's past his pe/te date then i think it's within the week. If he's not past his pe/te date he waits til the pe/te date or til the epa kicks in. (that's just my understanding)

I am on parole and I waited 2 weeks for my results and then another 2 weeks to get home. If he is there on a drug charge, he may get a 90 day drug class put on him and he willl be released upon completing that. If all goes well, he should be home 3-4 weeks after he makes the board.

Joeyboy, that's great about you being on parole. From what I understand, after the parole board hearing on the 7th it then gets voted on the 14th and results are available to the public on the 19th. So from what you're saying, that should mean 2 weeks after the 19th, he will probably be released? There are no drug charges involved.

Should be, there are alot of stipulations that they could put on him, but if it's his first time, he's almost guaranteed to get out.
