What is the best brand (besides Michelin) tires for a car?

I only use Michelins. They have been my brand for 20 years. Great tires. Great waranties.

My brother, who has been a mechanic for almost 30 yrs, says that some cars drive better, and safer, with certain brands of tires. Of course, I learned this after buying the "wrong" kind for the car I had.

What about Cooper? Toyo?

Michelin, Goodyear, Cooper...all are good.

I've always used Goodyear and the warranty has always been good.

i have always used toyo or kuhmo. my dad uses goodyear and loves his, but i still think the other two are better.

I just got some new ones too I did hae kumho and now I have toyo both are very affordable and good

Not sure what kinda of car you have but Goodyear tires are great for SUV's.

i too use goodyear, i bought some last year at sam's club and they were great w/me, i don't know if you have a sam's club by you (its a wholesale store, but they have a tire center), they had an excellent warranty package....i've had 2 flat tires and instead of charging me for a whole new tire, they just check the treading and charge you just for the wear you've done, so my brand new tire last time was like only $15, thats good........but either way, goodyear is a good brand!
