I have to say that the Robertson unit in TX has made our visits so much easier. They have real food and they also provide a TV and movies for the children. The visitation enviornment is less restrictive and now my boys enjoy the visits so much more. It is still hard but they are less irrated about them.. :) Big thanks to the staff at the Robertson Unit..

They really do there best to make the visits as easy as they can. within the TDC guidlines.. I am thankful for that fact at least.. :)

IM GLAD THIS IS A BETTER ENVIRONMENT

It has helped some but the boys do get tired of going. It has made it better for us in a whole though. I am going to donate some movies to the unit and the warrden will let them go into the visitation room. :) I am really glad he let us do that at least..

That's great that they have movies for the kids. More prisons should do this....

Shortie......I just found this........this is the unit Todd was at before he went to that GOD awful unit........Ferguson.......Todd never had any trouble at Robertson......I guess if you wanna pick a prison I would choose Robertson.........Todd wants to go back there!!!!!!!!

that is really great..when i go to see my husband our daughter getsso upset..its really loud..no tv, cant bring any of her toys..he cant get up to play with her..it sucks!!
maybe he needs to move!!!

Thanks for sharing that with us shortie my fianace is currently in the robertson unit and i am going to go visit him and now i know a little more about the visiting there! :)
